Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

Kieran

I stepped out of the sleek, black town car and onto the red carpet, the flashing cameras and shouting paparazzi a familiar noise. My name, Kieran Asher, was well-known because of my family's wealth and privilege.

As I made my way into the charity gala, I spotted my father, Victor Asher, holding court near the bar. He nodded at me, his expression a mixture of approval and expectation. I nodded back, knowing I was supposed to make an appearance and smile for the cameras.

But the truth was, I never wanted any of this. The paparazzi, the pressure to behave, the weight of my family's expectations... it all felt overwhelming. I sighed heavily, scanning the room for a distraction.

That's when I saw her - a beautiful woman with piercing green eyes and raven-black hair. I made my way over to her, flashing my most charming smile.

"Hi, I'm Kieran Asher," I said, taking her hand in mine. "And you are...?"

The woman smiled back at me, her eyes sparkling with interest. "I'm Sophia," she said. "It's nice to meet you, Kieran."

As we talked, I noticed a guy eyeing Sophia from across the room. He was tall and muscular, with a cocky grin that made my blood boil.

When he reached out and touched Sophia's arm, I became angry. "Hey, back off," I growled, my fists clenched.

The guy sneered at me, but I could see the fear lurking behind his eyes. "Or what?" he said, trying to sound brave.

I smiled, a cold, calculated smile. "Or I'll make you regret it."

And with that, I launched myself at him, punching him in the face with all my might. He stumbled backward, crashing into a table, and I followed him, pounding him with my fists until he was lying on the floor, bleeding and broken.

Security arrived, pulling me off the guy. My father rushed over, his face tight with anger. "Behave yourself, boy!" he shouted.

I shook him off, scanning the room for something to calm me down. I spotted the bar and headed straight for it, downing drink after drink.

But I was far from done.

After drinking too much, I stumbled out into the night, looking for something to do. That's when I saw the shopping mall, its brightly lit windows and gleaming glass façade seeming to mock me.

I smashed through the front doors, laughing and shouting as I rampaged through the mall, destroying everything in my path. I overturned racks of clothes, shattered display cases, and spray-painted graffiti on the walls.

Security guards tried to stop me, but I fought them off, using my fists and feet to take them down.

Finally, after what felt like hours, I stumbled out of the mall, exhausted and exhilarated.

I knew I'd gone too far.

But I also knew I'd get away with it.

Because Iwas Kieran Asher.

And I was untouchable.
