"Three thousand years ago, a major catastrophe nearly destroyed all of Galar, but thankfully two heroes wielding sword and shield saved the region from disaster..."
While Marnie and Gloria were frantically digging with their Pokémon in Turffield,
Sun Wuming borrowed the library at Magnolia Research Lab to read through texts about Galar's history.
"How surprising,"
Sonia said, holding two cups of coffee and smiling as she handed one to Sun Wuming:
"I thought someone like you would only be interested in working out."
"That's prejudiced..."
Sun Wuming glanced at the girl and, despite not liking coffee, took a polite sip out of courtesy.
He couldn't exactly say that he'd dropped the series before transmigrating and knew nothing about the Galar arc he hadn't read in his previous life.
So this was the only way to learn about it, right?
"Oh my, you're reading about Galar's ancient legends? What a coincidence, I'm researching that too."
Glancing at the book Sun Wuming was reading, Sonia showed an expression of keen interest.
She would occasionally discuss these topics with Leon too.
Though that dense fellow showed no interest at all.
"Mr. Sun, may we have a chat?"
At that moment, Rose walked in through the door and asked.
His ever-present personal secretary Oleana was still by his side.
"What can I help you with, Chairman?"
Sun Wuming asked in return.
"Pardon my rudeness, but I just had Oleana look into your background information... however, we couldn't find anything in the League's database."
Rose stroked his small goatee and said:
"I wonder which region Mr. Sun is from?"
Even Rose, who had seen it all, was left utterly speechless when he witnessed Sun Wuming shatter a mountain with one punch.
Even for Pokémon, based on Rose's experience, that would require at least Champion-peak level power.
Let alone for a human.
After the shock wore off, Rose's second thought was—
This person must be brought under Galar's wing!
So he immediately had Oleana investigate this man's information.
For the League, the largest and most powerful official organization in the entire Pokémon world,
Looking into someone couldn't be simpler.
Yet surprisingly, there was no data on Sun Wuming in their records.
"Actually, I'm a Saiyan who transmigrated here from a planet called Earth."
Sun Wuming shrugged and said.
He couldn't help but mutter to himself about how he hadn't even considered his undocumented status.
Speaking of which, with so many people transmigrating into anime worlds every year, had none of those hack writers ever thought about their protagonists' residency status?
Sonia, taking a small sip of coffee, rolled her eyes at Sun Wuming's nonsensical behavior.
Rose couldn't help but laugh, "Haha, Mr. Sun, you jest."
Sun Wuming was privately exasperated.
Tell the truth and no one believes you.
Ah, what a bizarre world.
Then, Rose's eyes lit up with inspiration as he suggested:
"If you don't mind, we could help process your residency and identity documents. We'll register your place of origin as the Galar region, and list your address as the Motostoke Gym. How does that sound?"
"Uh... that would be helpful."
Actually, when Sun Wuming first transmigrated here, he had mistakenly thought this was the Dragon Ball world and hadn't considered this issue.
But after being led to Motostoke by Marnie and truly beginning to integrate into this world, he realized how inconvenient being undocumented was.
Just like not having an ID in his previous life, everything became difficult.
The smile on Rose's face grew even wider.
This was exactly what he wanted.
To bring Sun Wuming into Galar's ranks!
"Chairman, it's about time for you to head to Kanto."
At this point, Oleana checked the time on her wristwatch and reminded Rose with furrowed brows.
Rose raised his eyebrows slightly, having originally planned to invite Sun Wuming to participate in this year's Galar Star Tournament.
But on second thought, he realized that rushing things wouldn't work, especially since Sun Wuming only had one Pokémon, his Cubchoo.
Participating in the Galar Star Tournament would be too much of a stretch.
So he temporarily abandoned that idea.
"Well, now that we're all part of Galar, Mr. Sun, please don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything."
Rose finally nodded with a smile and left with his secretary.
"Kanto, huh..."
Hearing Oleana's earlier words, Sun Wuming repeated the region's name.
"Oh? Are you interested in Kanto, Sun-san?"
Sonia asked.
"A little... but not too much."
Sun Wuming replied after half a second of thought.
As the starting point of the Pokémon continent,
Transmigrators all held some special feelings for it.
But as far as the anime went, Sun Wuming didn't like the Kanto arc.
Maybe because he had just become a trainer, but Ash's performance was just too weak!
If Sun Wuming had to evaluate, Ash only showed his true potential in the Sinnoh and XY arcs.
And then... he got screwed over by the writers.
Damn, first they give us Mr. Legendary-tamer and then Water Shuriken guy.
Were these editors drinking radioactive waste or something?
