"My teacher, Master Mustard, has great expertise in training Bear disciples. If Mr. Sun is willing, I can introduce you."
Leon said solemnly.
His master, the man who became the Galar League Champion fifty years ago—
Mustard.
His ace was a Urshifu.
Being a Fighting-type specialist himself, he would surely have much to discuss with Sun Wuming.
"You mean the legendary Fighting-type master Mustard?"
Sonia's eyes flashed with intrigue.
"You know him too?"
Sun Wuming turned and asked.
Sonia scratched her head embarrassedly and explained:
"Actually, my original purpose for going to that island was to seek Master Mustard as my teacher..."
Halfway through her words, she quickly changed course:
"But now, being with Master is what makes me happiest!"
Sun Wuming chuckled, playfully pinched Sonia's cheek, then turned to Leon and said:
"Then I'll trouble you with this."
"Ha, it's nothing, just a small matter."
Leon patted his chest.
Like Rose, he too hoped the Galar region would grow stronger.
Therefore, just as Rose had discovered him back then.
When Leon finds talented children, he also helps them become trainers.
Hmm... though it seems Sun Wuming doesn't need his discovery?
Thinking back to that punch this morning.
It felt powerful enough to kill any champion-level Pokémon that wasn't at peak champion level.
...
...
Meanwhile.
After more than ten hours of flight.
The private jet bearing the Macro Cosmos logo entered Kanto airspace from Galar.
"Chairman, shouldn't we investigate that man's background further?"
Oleana inquired again.
The subject of her concern was, naturally, Sun Wuming.
"There's no need. As long as he can be of use to Galar, his identity doesn't matter."
Rose said with a faint smile.
Though he appeared to be a kindly entrepreneur on the surface.
In reality, Rose's methods were extremely ruthless.
As long as it could make the Galar region stronger, he would use any means or person.
For someone without a registered League identity.
There were only two possibilities for his background.
One was being abandoned in the wilderness as a child and growing up there.
Though rare, such cases weren't unheard of.
From time to time, news would report about babies abandoned by their parents in forests or wastelands.
Then being raised by kind-hearted Pokémon.
The second possibility was that his parents were criminals or wanted fugitives.
Such people naturally wouldn't dare register with the League.
As for which category Sun Wuming fell into.
Rose didn't care, as long as it benefited Galar!
At this time, the plane slowly landed at the Indigo Plateau.
This place was the Pokémon League Headquarters—
The Kanto League Headquarters.
"You're looking well, Chairman Rose."
Just as Rose disembarked with Oleana, someone greeted him.
Rose turned to look and replied with a smile:
"Oh my, if it isn't Chairman Tsukikage! It's been a while."
The newcomer was the Hoenn League Chairman and Devon Corporation President, Joseph Stone.
Speaking of which, Rose and Stone's public personas were quite similar.
Both League Chairmen and top executives of major companies.
The only difference might be that Joseph Stone had a Champion son, while Rose didn't.
Though his son Steven wasn't Champion anymore, which greatly irritated Joseph Stone.
"I noticed Chairman Rose looking quite pleased earlier, has something good happened?"
Joseph Stone shook hands with him, saying with a smile.
Rose maintained his smile and said:
"If you must know, Chairman Stone, we've recently discovered another talent in Galar. I believe it won't be long before we catch up to Hoenn or even Johto."
"Oh? Is that so?"
Stone's gaze showed surprise.
He thought about whether he should recall his foolish son who spent all day digging for stones.
"Heh, Chairman Rose should focus on gathering your four Elite Four members first."
A rather discourteous deep voice came through.
The two turned to look and saw a blue-haired middle-aged man exuding an aura of authority.
Dragon!
The Johto League Chairman.
Head of the Dragon Clan, father of Blackthorn Gym Leader Clair, and uncle to the current strongest trainer in the world, Lance.
As the chairman of Johto League, second only to Kanto in overall strength, and being the head of the prestigious Dragon Clan.
Dragon naturally spoke with quite an air of arrogance.
Rather like his nephew Lance in that regard.
"Heh, then let's wait and see."
Rose responded with a knife-hidden-in-smile tone.
Yesterday's display of Sun Wuming's power, and his hellish training of Marnie and Sonia.
It made even Rose, a former Champion-level trainer, feel chilled to the bone.
He had a premonition that Sun Wuming would definitely bring unexpected changes to the Galar region.
Why else would Rose go to such lengths to curry favor with him?
He'd have to be crazy not to!
