As Ivanna walked out of the terminal, she was greeted by the warm sunshine and 2 familiar figures .Nia waved excitedly, her eyes shining with enthusiasm, while Neal smiled warmly, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Ivanna walked up to them, her long strides eating up the distance. "2nd brother, what are you doing here?" she asked Neal, her voice tinged with curiosity as she didn't expected him to be here . "Shouldn't you be at office."
Neal's expression which was happy until now suddenly turned serious, his eyes clouding over with concern. "Ive, I've been trying to reach you. Nick's in trouble. He has gone to race with some Racing God Speed Demon on Mount Gao, and I'm really worried. The roads are slippery after the rain, and it's not a safe place to be racing."
Ivanna's thoughts whirled as she made the connection. 'Speed Demon... isn't that my alias!' she realized, a flicker of surprise dancing across her face. 'The one I use when I'm feeling suffocated and need to hit the tracks, just to clear my head.'
Memories came flooding back - the rush of adrenaline, the roar of the engine, and the cheers of her fans, who had lovingly nicknamed her the "Racing God Speed Demon."
But her nostalgia was short-lived, replaced by a growing sense of unease. 'Who's impersonating me?' Ivanna wondered, her mind racing with questions. 'And why are they racing with Nick?'
A shiver ran down her spine as she envisioned the danger that Nick was in. 'This is getting out of hand, if someone try to impersonate me it's fine but what if they try her dangerous moves, She remembered it rained earlier racing right now is not safe , Third brother ain't safe". she thought, her grip on her bag tightening. "I need to get to Mount Gao, ASAP."
With a newfound sense of urgency, Ivanna turned to Neal. "Take me to third brother," she said, her voice firm and resolute. "Now."
"I need to go," Ivanna said, her voice firm and resolute.
Nia looked worried, her eyes wide with concern. "But Eudora, we have a script reading at 12:30 pm! You can't miss it! The director will be really upset if you're late."
Ivanna smiled reassuringly, her face softening with kindness. "Don't worry, I'll be there. 12:30 pm, sharp. I promise." She glanced at Nia again and left with her brother.
Only a few minutes later, Ivanna and Neal arrived at the location, the sound of revving engines and cheering crowds filling the air. Ivanna didn't have time to disguise herself properly, so she quickly donned a pair of glasses and a mask, pulling her hoodie up to conceal her face. Neal, who was watching her from the side, looked almost bewildered.
This sister, whom their family had found six years ago, had always been mysterious, never wanting to reveal her face in public. She had even declined to attend the family banquet, which was meant to formally acknowledge her as the Qin family's younger daughter. The reason behind her secrecy remained unclear, shrouded in mystery.
Neal's eyes lingered on Ivanna's concealed face, a mix of curiosity and concern etched on his features. He had grown accustomed to her enigmatic nature, but he couldn't help but wonder what lay beneath her mask
As they scanned the crowd, Ivanna and Neal quickly spotted Nick, chatting with his friend enthusiastically . Neal grabbed Nick's arm and dragged him towards Ivanna.
Nick asked, "What's going on, Neal?" Then, his eyes met Ivanna's, and he exclaimed happily, "Sis, are you here to watch your brother race?"
Ivanna's glare and Neal's kick made it clear they weren't pleased. "Are you aware of what you're doing?" Ivanna asked angrily.
