Ivanna then glanced at her watch, her mind racing as she calculated the time needed to finish the race. She had a prior commitment to attend to - a script reading - and she couldn't afford to be late. With a deep breath, she focused on the task at hand, her determination to win the race reigniting within her.
As the starting lights flashed green, Ivanna's sleek red car hurtled forward like a crimson bullet, leaving a trail of awestruck gasps in its wake. Sam's green supercar clung to her heels, its engine roaring in protest as it struggled to keep pace.
The wet roads glistened like polished obsidian, reflecting the neon lights of the surrounding cityscape. Ivanna navigated the treacherous asphalt with the finesse of a seasoned pro, her tires gripping the road with a precision that belied the hazardous conditions.
As she approached the infamous "Devil's Turn," a notorious curve notorious for its ability to send even the most skilled drivers careening into the nearest guardrail, Ivanna's car seemed to dance on the road. She executed a flawless 45° turn, her car drifting smoothly around the bend with a fluidity that left the crowd gasping in amazement.
Sam, determined to keep pace, attempted to mimic Ivanna's move. However, his turn was sloppy, and his car fishtailed wildly because of the wet roads ,its rear end swinging out like a pendulum. He managed to regain control, but the mistake cost him valuable time – and momentum.
As Ivanna zoomed through the winding mountain roads, her driving skills left the crowd utterly bewildered. The earlier downpour had turned the track into a slippery snake, but Ivanna navigated it with ease, her car drifting smoothly around the treacherous bends.
The mountain's rugged landscape loomed in the background, its steep cliffs and rocky outcroppings a testament to the unforgiving terrain. But Ivanna seemed completely at home, her car hugging the road as she took the hairpin turns with precision.
The crowd watched in awe, their mouths agape as Ivanna's car seemed to defy the laws of physics.
"Girl, it rained earlier, just how the hell did you drift so beautifully on these mountain roads?"
Someone in the crowd exclaimed.
"She's wonderful isn't she"
Someone else said,
The spectators were stunned, struggling to comprehend the sheer skill and finesse Ivanna displayed behind the wheel.
For a moment, Neal was shocked too by his little sister's incredible driving skills. He thought to himself,
"Just what else can this cute little actress do?" A proud smile spread across his face as he watched Ivanna take the checkered flag.
Meanwhile, Nick was cheering like a crazy person, telling almost everyone within earshot, "Yo, that's my sister!"
Neal didn't stop him, simply smiling as he watched his brother bask in the glory of Ivanna's victory. The proud brothers shared a warm moment, basking in the admiration of the crowd as they celebrated Ivanna's triumph.
Ivanna, sensing victory within her grasp, floored it, her car surging forward like a thoroughbred unleashed. The finish line loomed ahead, a tantalizing ribbon of checkered glory. With a final burst of speed, Ivanna crossed the finish line in an astonishing 10 minutes, a full 5 minutes ahead of Sam.
As she stepped out of the car, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause, their faces aglow with admiration. Ivanna, however, remained focused, her eyes scanning the crowd until they locked onto her brothers. With a brief nod, she strode towards Neal, her voice low and urgent.
"Brother, I've got to go right now,"
She said, already reaching for the keys.
"I'm going to borrow this car. Bye!"
Before Neal could react, Ivanna snatched the keys from his hand and rushed away, leaving her stunned brother in her wake.
