Édua was standing in front of the mirror doing the final touches to her hair, while thinking about what her date would be like. It wasn't like she was meeting Patrik for the first time, but this meeting was going to be different. After her hair was done, she went to her closet to pick out an outfit. She was holding a pale blue two-piece skirt that accentuated her figure perfectly, so she chose this one. She sat down in front of her make-up table to put on some mascara and glittery lip gloss on her lips. Her phone showed a notification, which she quickly looked at, since it was written by Patrik.
- Five minutes and I'm there. Are you ready? - even from the phone, the mixture of tension and excitement that emanated from Patrik could be felt.
- Of course, I just have to put on my shoes. I'll go down then - she cut the line to go put on her shoes and go down to the front of the staircase. Patrik arrived just as Édua stepped out the door. They greeted each other with a smile and a hug, and then went to Patrik's, where they were going to have dinner. They had been walking for five minutes when Patrik stopped in front of stairwell number forty-five, where he invited the girl inside.
– I didn't know you lived so close – laughed Édua, as she expected they would be walking for a long time.
- There is an advantage to the matter - the boy also laughed when he opened the door of his apartment for the girl - I don't have to travel far to meet you - he added when he closed the door behind them.
Édua blushed at the compliment and walked further into the apartment. Its layout was the same as her, only the furniture and personal belongings were different. The apartment was tidy, everything was in its place in a military order, which Édua included in her list of positive things that she had written down in her mind.
While Patrik was preparing dinner, Édua noticed that there was no wall clock, only its place on the wall. When she asked why it wasn't there, Patrik told herbthat he broke it in an accident and hadn't bought a new one since. Édua laughed at the story, but when Patrik finally told her that he had beaten her as a result of a pancake shoot - and broke like that - she burst out laughing.
- Are you ready? - asked Édi, when she saw that Patrik had turned off the gas.
- Yes, I'm already taking it and we can eat. I hope it will be good, I made carbonara - Patrik was full of energy, he must have felt his skin jump out of his skin, because his cooking smells very good.
As soon as they put the first morsel in their mouths, they suddenly spat it out, as it turned out that Patrik had put sugar in the food instead of salt. They both laughed until they started to choke, and finally ordered pizza. When the pizza arrived, they sat down in the armchair in the living room to watch a movie while eating, but Patrik fell down with the first move.
- You must have gotten this because it's not your cooked food - Édua burst out laughing again. Patrik also joined her, they tried to calm down by wiping their tears.
Until now, the date has been chaos, but still, Édua has never felt so good on a date. As she looked into Patrik's sparkling blue eyes, she felt something for the boy for the first time. While laughing, they got closer and closer to each other, which neither of them noticed until they were almost smooth. In the end, they continued watching the movie with Patrik throwing his hand over Édua's shoulders.
Towards the end of the film, Patrik carefully touched Édi's hand, which was already resting on the sofa. The girl suddenly froze and then looked at the boy. Patrik's other hand went to Édi's face with a snail's pace, then they scanned each other's eyes for a while longer. He didn't dare to take the initiative, he was afraid that she might not want him to kiss her, but the temptation swallowed him completely. Finally, Édua broke the distance between the two of them, she couldn't wait any longer for the boy. Their kiss was soft and careful, both slowly getting to know each other's taste. Although there was a kiss between them not long ago, it was completely different from this one.
- I did not expect this step of yours - Patrik blushed when they parted.
- Well, if nothing went normally on this date, I didn't want to break the circle - Édi laughed again, and Patrik joined her.
