Chapter 6 - Chapter 6  The Cold, Wild Kiss

I narrowed my eyes, staring at his stunningly beautiful ghostly face. "I really want to know, are you a blood-sucking bat, an ugly half-rotted skeleton, or perhaps an extremely ugly undead zombie? If I'm not mistaken, you probably keep a portrait of your younger self, sighing wistfully, hoping to see the sunlight again. I've seen many vampire movies, and they all do that. Hahaha... how hilarious, just a thousand-year-old monster!"

"You're really funny!" His face darkened, his brows furrowed, and his forced smile hid an indescribable meaning. "I hate it when people discuss my appearance. Don't push me to punish you."

"Punish me? Hmph... don't act like you're God. Your tone only reveals your bloodthirsty nature. You should be grateful to those who died by your hand—it's their blood that keeps you immortal. Maybe you should look in the mirror and see how bizarre you look. Modern men with long hair like yours are either madmen or mentally unstable. Buddy, you're outdated!"

As soon as I finished speaking, a powerful force slammed me onto the bar. Before I could recover from the shock, a heavy weight pressed down on me, and I realized he was on top of me.

Amidst my terrified screams, a wild, low growl echoed, and cold kisses rained down on my neck, making me tremble uncontrollably. I felt two fangs press against my neck and screamed in panic, "No, no..." I kicked out hard, and he fell off the bar, knocking over a high stool.

Whoosh... a cold breeze swept past, and he was already standing steadily, his blood-red eyes filled with endless savagery. He took a deep breath. "Darling, you're quite feisty. Your blood must be rich and delicious!"

"Damn vampire!" I kicked out again, but he grabbed my leg, pulling my skirt up. I grabbed the ice bucket from the bar and hurled it at his head, but he caught my wrist, and the ice scattered everywhere.

He chuckled darkly, "Too much strength isn't ladylike, but I like the icy touch. Darling... you've angered me!"

"Can the dead even get angry? How many people have you killed in a thousand years? Ugh!"

"Don't mention that number. You have no right to talk about my age!" He was furious, as if he wanted to tear me apart.

"Ah—" My body was slammed against the bar, my back throbbing from the impact, and I was abruptly lifted up.

His hand moved down fiercely, his nails growing ten times longer, emitting a cold, bloody glow. "You'll understand how intoxicating this method is!" My T-shirt was torn apart. "Damn it, why do modern women always wear a bra? Your heart is beating so fast, as if it's waiting for me to take a fierce bite... it's like a bewitching spell!"

He sniffed greedily at my skin. "I like women who don't wear perfume. Natural is more appealing, don't you agree?"

"Get off me!"

My bra was cut open by his sharp nails, and his cold tongue lingered on my chest. "How about starting here? I like this spot—warm and soft. You have a nice figure..."

"No—stop—" My screams had turned hoarse and shaky. Fear and despair engulfed me, leaving me nearly breathless.
