TWO GIRLS AND ONE BOY stolled the eastern part of the Frostwood Academy, where forest spanned into large mountain ranges, rolling down them like soliders marching in an army. Training grounds were carved into this natural backdrop, with the knights department standing proudly alongside them protecting the academy at its eastern side.
Silvia giggled, playing with the straps of her bag as she playfully winked at her best friend. "Please, he's practically crushing on you."
The boys face flinched. "He's not."
"He is," Georgia teased, poking his shoulder. "Following you around, showing all that attention. Always waving his sword as soon as you pop up. He's always there if you're there!"
The boy, known as Haidos, glanced between the two girls as they walked towards their favourite lunch spot.
"The both of you are delusional," he voiced, huffing as he strode ahead of them.
The girls burst into giggles behind him.
He threw a condemning look over his shoulder . "Besides, his elder brother and family would have your tongue if they heard your insults. Insulting nobles is an imperial crime."
Silvia rolled her eyes as she jogged to catch up with him. Looping their arms together, she patted him, tilting her head innocently. "Don't take it to heart, Hadios. We're only teasing."
Georgia chuckled, taking his other arm as she caught up. She whispered, "Besides, even if it came to that, he would probably come to your rescue. You're star crossed lovers after all."
"Idiots!"
Haidos threw them off as they cackled again like witches behind his back.
He stormed off. "I'll eat by mysel-"
A body slammed into his, air leaving his lungs as he fell to his bottom with crunch.
Haidos eyes widened in shock.
He was barely hurt, but the person infront of him was a different story.
She sprawled onto the floor, body shaking, eyes enlarged. Dirty, covered in brown and black substances, with mangled tangled hair and dry cracked lips.
The woman's mumbled something incoherent, her body trembling.
She was barely clothed.
"Oh goodness!" Silvia rushed to the injured woman's side, shedding her school jacket to cover her. "Quick Haidos, call the frost guards!"
Haidos quickly pulled a silver pocket watch from his clothing, moving the dial. A transparent square appeared infront of him.
He slammed his fingers on an icon.
"Frost guard, how may we assist you-"
"An injured naked woman came out of the silent forest!"
"Noted, we'll be with you soon student."
The call ended with a bell chime.
10 heartbeats later, two knights hazed into existence several paces away, spears in their hands.
Georgia rushed over to them, pointing at the woman. "Hurry, over there!"
They strode to the scared Silvia's side, one standing guard, the other kneeling before the woman.
The knight plucked a pen from his side, clicking it three times. A bright blue light flashed from it as he scanned the woman from head to toe swiftly.
Results flashed on a transparent screen.

The knights face turned grim, before he clicked the pen four times. The woman's body levitated off the floor slowly, her body encased in a cocoon of blue.
He turned his head towards the students, "Report to our office immediately."
The knights, along with the woman, vanished in an instant.
The trio looked at each other, before standing up and running towards the buildings in the distant.
Their afternoon would soon be more disastrous then it began.
