A battle raged on as two powerful beings fought against one another, one fighting to save the world while the other wants to end it all.
Clash!!!! A shockwave went throughout the area as the two fists hit against each other. "Kamako you don't have a chance of stopping this." The man says with a sinister grin across his face.
A serious look with a bit of determination was on his face. "I'll stop you here Rin, even if I die in the process." Kamako responds with a serious tone in his voice.
The battle continues to rage on as the skies start to turn red and the air starts to sting to breathe. Each second the fight gets more and more intense as blood begins to cover the pavement.
The trees filled with flames as the artifact sends shockwaves throughout the area. Destruction of the world was upon us, Kamako a legendary Prophet was trying to save it.
"Kamako you're taking too much damage, you got to pull back somehow!" Zara shouts with concern in her voice.
Kamako uses his insane speed to back up within seconds of her speaking to him. "It all hurts a lot but I don't know what else I can do. Rin is a lot more powerful than I expected him to be." Kamako responds while falling to his knees.
"He's already activated the artifact and I'm not sure you'll be able to get past him to stop it." Zara says with a worried tone.
Getting past him is basically impossible after the amount of damage I've taken but I wonder if I have enough power to at least stop the artifacts effects. The world needs to be saved, even if I'm the one who dies in the process.
Rin notices that Kamako fell to the ground and looks back at one of his guys. "Are we heading back home My lord?" Another man asks.
"Yes Kinnon we are done here." Rin answers confidently.
The pain is going all throughout my body and I don't think I can move any further, this is surely the end for me.
Kamako could feel the power from the artifact starting to surge as he lays on the ground, powerless. Soon the world would be engulfed by the chaos the artifact can cause.
Transforming the world into something else entirely, Rin planned to turn it into hell.
"Zara is it possible to use my power to stop the artifact?" Kamako questions with a serious tone in his voice.
"It could but there's a chance it won't." Zara answers with a bit of uncertainty in her voice.
He didn't hesitate after hearing that to try to send a massive surge of power throughout the world to keep it from being effected by the artifact. As he did, the artifact shattered and sent Rin, Kinnon, Kamako, and anyone else in the area into a black void.
Are they dead, missing, or what really happened to them?
20 Years after Kamako and The Demon Lord Rins Battle.
(Oshima Nori's View. Currently inside a messy apartment, sitting on a couch playing Law of Duty.)
I just turned 18 this month and honestly all I've been doing is playing video games lately, I graduated school fairly recently. Grandpa wants me to get a job if I'm not going to college so I can start paying for everything myself but I've been lazy.
Plus who really wants to work every single day? Most of my friends just started going to University but I don't even know what I'd go for.
Ring. Ring. "Nori have you found a job yet?" An older sounding voice asks from the other side of the phone.
Grandpa's timing really is impeccable, always knows exactly when to call me.
I let out a sigh before answering like always. "I'm working on it. A lot of places are packed and don't need anyone right now." Nori responds while continuing to play his game.
Our conversations didn't usually last long since I didn't see the need to go on and on about why I didn't have a job or why I didn't want to go to a university.
Beep. I hung up the phone after a bit of talking and then sat my controller down.
"I guess a walk would be nice right about now, I could use some snacks." Nori says while standing up from his couch.
A typical 9-5 job just isn't something for me, why couldn't I just be good enough at video games to go pro? Plenty of people go pro nowadays or use FuTube to make a living anymore.
Nori walks into the bathroom and looks at the mirror for a minute before grabbing his coat outside the bathroom.
Bags under his dark brown eyes, he had black hair that went to his shoulders and could cover his eyes if he didn't tie it up. Usually he kept it in a samurai bun like style, he used to keep it short and it used to just barely reach the back of his neck with a nice spiky design to certain parts.
He at least wore normal jeans and some shirt with a gaming studio logo on it. His coat was a nice black leather with a hood on it.
Not that it's really that cold out right now, I just don't like people seeing my full face all the time. He pulls the hood over his head.
Kyoto isn't even that bad, though there's definitely a lot of people around. Click. He locks the door and heads down the steps until he reaches the sidewalk.
The shop I go to is only a couple of minutes down the road since I looked for everything when I first moved into this apartment. Grandpa is at least nice enough to pay for everything for me until I do have a job but maybe it's because Dad isn't around anymore.
Pity one might call it? He feels bad for me because I had to handle everything on my own after my parents died. Most of my friends are too busy to say anything to me or think I'm going nowhere, so are they even friends anymore?
