Chapter 44 - Chapter 44: Holy Sword Excalibur

"Ding! Master, you've just plundered a total of 113 luck points from those four, plus the 30 from the task reward. That brings your total to 142 luck points~"

Sia's cheerful voice echoed in Blake's ear as he descended the dungeon stairs.

"143, huh? Adding the previous 227, that makes exactly 360 luck points."

Blake couldn't help but smile faintly. Though he had used up some of his stored basic luck plunder, the gain was still substantial.

"Sia, initiate the intermediate draw."

"Master, the intermediate draw costs 200 luck points, you know."

Sia quickly reminded him, her tone cautious. It wasn't a small amount, after all.

"It's fine. Start the draw. You can't gain without spending."

Blake shrugged, his voice calm. Though he felt a twinge of reluctance, he believed the rewards would be worth it. Intermediate items were never a waste.

"Understood."

*Ding!*

*Congratulations, Master! You have drawn the Holy Sword: Sword of Promised Victory—Excalibur!*

*Level: A++*

*Category: Noble Phantasm*

*Range: 1-99*

*Max Target: 1000 people*

*This is the most powerful Noble Phantasm wielded by Saber, Artoria. It is a symbol of King Arthur's strength and nobility. The sword is approximately three feet long (around 93.3 cm) and four inches wide (about 12.3 cm).*

*Forged not by humans but by the planet itself, Excalibur is the pinnacle of Holy Swords. It is crafted from the crystallized beliefs of the people within the planet, making it one of the ultimate divine creations known as "The Last Phantasm."*

*By converting the wielder's magic into light, it releases a devastating beam from the tip of the sword, obliterating everything in its path. During the Fourth Holy Grail War, it incinerated a sea monster summoned by Caster in a single strike. Due to its immense scale and destructive power, it is classified as a "city-destroying Noble Phantasm."*

Under Blake's astonished gaze, a magnificent longsword materialized before him, radiating an opulent aura as a burst of dazzling rainbow-colored light filled the air.

"Damn!!!!!!"

For the first time in what felt like forever, Blake, usually composed, couldn't help but curse aloud. The surprise was too sudden, too overwhelming. Could this be it? After years of struggle, had he finally escaped the clutches of misfortune?

"Congratulations, Master! This Holy Sword is considered top-tier even among all intermediate items!"

Sia's voice was filled with excitement as she congratulated him. Even she was taken aback. She hadn't expected such an extraordinary item to appear.

"Sia, can I use this sword?"

Blake took a deep breath, his heart pounding with nervous anticipation. If he couldn't wield such a prize after drawing it, the disappointment would be crushing.

"Of course! Anything drawn from the system can be used by you. For example, that Device you have—it's a replica of the original owner's soul energy. Master, would you like to extract the sword now? Once bonded, it can be stored in your subspace."

Sia's explanation came quickly, her tone reassuring.

"Phew, that's a relief. But not now, Sia. Continue the draw—let's do three more beginner-level draws."

Blake exhaled, his tension easing slightly. His blue eyes sparkled with renewed anticipation. With his luck running hot, why not push it further?

"Understood."

*Ding!*

*Congratulations, Master! You have drawn Magic Enhancement from the Fairy Tail world.*

*Ding!*

*Congratulations, Master! You have drawn Sword Art: One Sword To Rule All from the fantasy world One Sword Supremacy.*

*Ding!*

*Congratulations, Master! You have drawn a one-time item, Cursed Doll, from the Doraemon world.*

As the three notifications echoed in his mind, Blake couldn't help but smile. His blue eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he examined the new items. Each one was incredibly useful, and it seemed his luck was truly on fire.

"Roar————!"

At that moment, the dungeon walls cracked open, and several gray-furred wolves emerged, surrounding Blake. Their green eyes glowed with primal ferocity, and their snarling mouths dripped with saliva as they eyed him like prey.

"Caught me off guard, huh? This is truly the dungeon."

*Clink—!*

Facing the pack of wolves, Blake let out a light laugh and swiftly drew his sword. A sharp gust of wind whirled around him as he prepared for battle.

*Howl—!*

With a shrill cry, the wolves lunged at Blake, their movements coordinated as they blocked all possible escape routes.

"Magic Enhancement."

A spark of brilliance flickered in Blake's eyes as he activated the newly acquired magic. Instantly, he felt his strength, speed, and other attributes surge by more than double.

*Whoosh—!*

In the next moment, Blake swung his sword. The blade moved so fast it seemed to create multiple afterimages, the silver light flickering like lightning as it sliced through the air.

*Boom—!*

As Blake sheathed his iron sword, a series of explosions rang out. The wolves disintegrated one by one, their bodies turning to dust and leaving behind small magic stones that clattered to the ground.

"Ha! Magic Enhancement really is something. If it were the old me, I wouldn't have been able to wipe them all out in one go. Taking down half would've been impressive enough."

Blake exhaled, analyzing the situation as he glanced at the scattered magic stones. He didn't bother collecting them; they were merely a burden. Instead, he deactivated the Magic Enhancement, deciding to save it for later. With the boost, it was the perfect opportunity to train his magic attribute and avoid becoming unbalanced.

As Blake ventured deeper into the dungeon, heading toward the seventeenth floor where the Minotaur awaited, a golden-haired figure and a pair of twins quietly entered the dungeon, drawing astonished and admiring gazes from the adventurers around them.
