Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: One Sword to Rule All

Ninth Floor

"Hey, Ais, I'm so bored. Can you talk to me for a bit?"

Tiona, the younger twin sister of the Amazon sisters, casually kicked a monster to death and then spoke out of boredom.

"Tiona, can't you be a little more composed?"

Her elder sister, Tione, spoke helplessly.

"But ever since we saw that silver-haired boy, Blake, this morning, Ais has been so silent. She hasn't said a word about what she's thinking and hasn't shared anything with us."

Hearing this, Tiona looked at Ais with a conflicted expression. For someone as lively as her, such a secret was as irritating as if a cat were scratching at her heart.

"I'm sorry," Ais lowered her head, a hint of apology flickering in her golden eyes.

"Don't take it to heart. You know Tiona's personality. She's always looking for trouble," Tione quickly intervened, which caused Tiona to pout and mutter under her breath in displeasure.

"Mm?"

At this moment, the sound of hurried footsteps reached their ears, causing the three of them to stop talking and look toward the intersection in the dungeon.

To their surprise, a small humanoid figure, draped in a cream-colored cloak, appeared, looking panicked and in pain. It was Lili, fleeing from the tenth floor.

"Sword... Sword Princess!"

But the next moment, Lili halted in her tracks, staring in astonishment at the three figures in front of her. She naturally recognized Ais, the famous Sword Princess of Orario.

"Sword Princess, please, you have to save the silver-haired adventurer. He's surrounded by monsters!"

Lili hesitated for a moment before gritting her teeth and saying this. She still had some fondness for Blake, who had saved her twice. Moreover, she felt guilty for leaving him behind while he handled the monsters.

Of course, had she not encountered Ais, Lili would have run away alone. Her affection for him wasn't enough to make her risk her life for him.

Since she had met Ais, however, asking for help didn't seem too bad—after all, the rumors about Ais were all positive.

"Silver-haired... Could it be him?"

Ais, Tiona, and Tione all froze upon hearing Lili's words. They exchanged shocked looks.

"Please guide us."

Ais's expression immediately became serious. Regardless of who it was, Ais would always lend a hand, as it was a matter of life.

"Mm!"

Lili's eyes lit up with surprise, and she quickly endured the pain in her foot and led the way.

"Let's go. If it really is Blake, he's really something. He became an adventurer not even a day ago and already made it to the tenth floor."

Tiona and Tione exchanged glances, their disbelief hard to suppress as they followed behind Lili, slowly making their way forward.

...

Boom—!

"Aaah—!"

When Ais and the others arrived at the tenth floor, they immediately heard a huge crash and the furious howls of countless monsters. Their faces changed instantly.

Although they didn't know the exact number, it was safe to say there were at least a hundred monsters.

"..."

Ais watched the scene ahead, her golden eyes flashing with concern. Without hesitation, she darted ahead, leading the charge.

The Amazon sisters, however, couldn't move as quickly. They had to protect Lili and could only proceed slowly.

When they got within a hundred meters of the monster group, they saw Ais stop, her figure poised at the edge of the battlefield without rushing to attack the monsters. This puzzled them.

"It's him, how is that possible!"

The Amazon sisters' eyes widened in shock as they noticed a figure weaving gracefully among the monsters.

"Roar!"

Amid the chaotic roars, a massive group of Monsters, with bloated, towering figures—each more than two meters tall—charged forward, holding large clubs. There were at least several hundred of them, all snarling and charging toward the center of the crowd.

In the midst of them, a figure danced through the swarm, dodging strikes from the enormous clubs with incredible precision, moving like drifting willow leaves. No matter how many Monsters attacked, none of their strikes even grazed the figure. The Monsters howled in frustration and rage.

The sight was enough to stun anyone.

"Indeed, it's the silver-haired guy... He became an adventurer just yesterday, and now he's in the tenth floor, battling hundreds of Monsters without a scratch..."

Tione gasped in amazement.

"He's not fighting... He's training his basic abilities,"

Ais spoke at last, her golden eyes locked on the figure moving through the Monsters, as she slowly explained.

"Mm?"

Tione was momentarily stunned, then noticed that although Blake had a sword on his waist, he hadn't drawn it. Aside from occasionally kicking away a monster, he wasn't engaging in any offensive action, confirming Ais's statement that he was simply training his basic abilities.

Hiss~!

Tiona and Tione couldn't help but take a sharp breath. This guy was truly reckless. While Monsters might not be Level 2 monsters, their strength surpassed that of most Level 2 adventurers. A single hit could be fatal. And with this many enemies, even a Level 4 adventurer would be in serious danger if surrounded. While it wouldn't result in death, serious injuries were almost guaranteed.

Yet here was someone who had just become an adventurer the previous night, using a group of hundreds of Monsters as a stepping stone for his training. How could they not be stunned?

"Why is Ais here? And is that... Lili?"

Blake, still dancing through the monster swarm, noticed the figures in the distance. He raised an eyebrow.

Looks like I won't be able to train properly. If they steal the kills, it could be troublesome... Well, in that case...

With that thought, a gleam flickered in his crystal-blue eyes. He stepped on a half-beastman like monster head and leaped into the air.

"What's he trying to do? If he does that, he won't have room to dodge!"

The Amazon sisters were shocked when they noticed Blake's actions, and they looked at the figure in the sky with confusion. As for Ais, she had already placed her hand on the hilt of her sword, ready to act at any moment.

At that moment, with a flash of piercing silver light, Blake suddenly drew his sword from his waist and unleashed an incredibly sharp aura. Terrifying sword Ki erupted from his body, and before Ais and the Amazon sisters' stunned gazes, it formed a long sword made entirely of sword Ki, densely covering the entire sky!

The next moment, as Blake swung his sword from above, the sword Ki, like a violent storm, rained down on the Monsters.

Whoosh—!

Swoosh—!

In an instant, with sounds like a bloody symphony, the Monsters were shot through and shattered into ashes.

In just one strike, hundreds of Monsters—completely wiped out!
