Chapter 4 - The Real Lord

Neil had a good night sleep in the mansion and he was ready to face anything that was thrown at him that day. When he got up he stared at the ceiling for a while before springing up to go for a run.

Neil never lost his physique or his appearance when he was married to Erica, he always made sure that he kept his skills as sharper than ever and he knew the best thing to do was to make sure that he didn't lose anything that was his anymore.

Neil had returned home after his run, he was still energetic but he saw that Claire was there already and he was going to have a day planned out to make sure that he was okay.

"You are up early, I see you had a good night's sleep." Claire smiled, she was looking at Neil as he walked into the house.

She followed closely, "You know I was thinking of the reason why she would even think of leaving me for someone and I realised that I was the one living in a lie the whole time."

Neil was no longer sad that he was getting divorced, he put planned to make his life a little bit worth living more than it was before. "You finally snapped out of it huh? You are better off without her, there are way more other people who would love to be with and cherish you more than she would ever think of doing."

Claire smiled when she saw that Neil was back to his old mood and nothing was going to make him feel down anymore and he was going to think of a way to make sure that nothing would come to bring him down.

"I need to make sure that I have everything prepared as I will be making sure that I attended my ascension ceremony and make sure that I set things right."

Neil looked at Claire and noticed that she was trying to hide the fact that she was smiling. "Is anything wrong Claire?"

Claire shook her head, she looked at Justin. "You know it's been a long that I have seen you smile that way or even act like your normal self. It's refreshing to see that, now let's go get you some new clothes and prepare for your divorce tomorrow."

Claire pushed Neil to enter the room so he could get ready so they would be able to go and buy him some clothes. Neil knew that there was no way he would win an argument with her.

'I need to make sure that she doesn't kill someone for my sake.' Neil looked around the room then he selected what he would wear to the mall. He picked out one of his normal clothes threw on some khakis and headed off.

Claire prepared the car, like everything about Justin's life his car was top of the class. "You had to bring this car? Why didn't you bring a smaller one you are making me stand out in front of everyone."

Neil was looking at Black Bugatti Chvrion, he didn't like that she was trying to make it known that he was someone of high status for now.

"You need to make your status known a bit so that people won't pick on you a lot besides a bit of show won't hurt anyone." Claire didn't like seeing Neil walk like he was a commoner. It was something she had told him from the start but he didn't want to change how he had started living in the city.

"I will start using it whenever I need to, but for now I will make sure that there is nothing that would even make me think of leaving this style." Neil entered the car and was prepared to leave, Claire rolled her eyes and hopped into the car.

They didn't even waste time to get to the mall, everyone there was looking at the car that pulled up and they knew that it was not a normal person that had the car.

"Look at that car, there is no way the person who has the car looks like a low-class person." The on-lookers were trying to make sure that they caught a glimpse of who it was that had the car.

Neil noticed tha people were looking at hte car like he was some kind of god, "This is why I dont like using tbe car to go to places. People always act like they have not seen a car in their life wanting to know the owner of the car."

"Relax, you don't like people looking at you and I know that but you have to roll with it. You are not going to throw who you are away, your identity as the Lord Of The Skies is something that no matter how much you run from it there is no escape from it."

Claire opened the car doors, Neil got down and looked around people were looking at him. He could see the looks of shock and confusion, he knew why they were looking at him like that but he didn't even care less if they were shocked to see him.

"They are all the same and there is nothing that would even make them any different from sheep," Neil muttered as he was about to follow Claire, he was not even happy that any of them were looking at him.

They bought some clothes and other things Neil would need, he had been wearing good clothes for a long time so Claire was the one picking up some things for him. "Left to you there would be no way you would even come here to get anything so I will make sure that you don't even try to leave anything."

Neil smiled, he was the type of person to care less about what was going on but Clarie was not going to let him do anything like that. "You are one heck of a person,"

"Um, excuse me."

Neil turned to see who it was that was talking behind them, and he saw the shopkeeper there. He didn't know what was going on.

"You are not meant to be in this shop,"
