Neil began to step down from the courthouse, he was smiling a bit when he saw the car that had pulled up in front of the courthouse there. He smiled and knew that there was nothing that would even match his joy at that moment.
He didn't know that she would show up with one of his most expensive cars, it was like she wanted to send a message. "Did Claire tell you to do this Alissa dear?"
Neil was talking to a beautiful young lady that stepped down from the car, she had a dazzling smile on her face. It was clear she was thrilled to see Justin. "My liege, it was my idea to come with the car since I was picking you up and besides you are not in any of their classes."
Neil smiled at her wonderful gesture, it was something that no one in the courthouse would have predicted. The presence of the car and the lady driving it made everyone stand on pause.
They were looking at the car and they could see that there was something else about Neil that they didn't pick up.
"Isn't that the man that had the divorce today? I thought his ex-wife said that he had nothing to his name. Why is that lady now bowing to him like he is some sort of king."
"Could be that he was hiding his true identity from her and others, you never know the kind of person you are marrying until you settle down. He looked like someone who loved her but then she chose to be with someone else over him."
Rachel was shocked the most, she was looking at Neil and the lady talking to each other and a surge of jealousy hit her. It was like she didn't know who it was that she had married or even divorced.
"This can't be true, he has to be faking it. This can't be the truth, he is not the type of person that has this amount of money he didn't even have anything to his name. So why is she bowing to him?"
Rachel didn't know what was pushing her to go and confront Neil but she knew that there was no way he was the same man she had married or even divorced.
"Well you did go a bit over the top but I know why you did it and there is nothing that amuses me the way you have made sure that nothing will make me look like a normal man but then I didn't expect you to come here like this."
Neil smiled when he saw what his subordinate was trying to do for him, it was like he had hidden nothing from the world and it was clear that he didn't need to hide anything from the world.
"I am happy that you like it my Liege, I will always do whatever it takes to make sure that you are happy and see that there is nothing that would make you feel like you are looked down on by anyone."
Alissa was looking at Neil with a smile on her face, there was no telling how far she could go for him but it was known that she would do anything to make sure that he wasn't disrespected by anyone.
"What is all this? How in the world are you this rich? Or are you playing with my mind here?"
Neil turned to see Rachel standing behind him, it was like she was looking at him to get answers. He smiled when he noticed what was wrong and there was nothing that would even make him happier than the look he saw on her face.
"Oh my, what are you talking about? I know you think that there is something odd going on here but you know there are things you could have learnt if you gave me a bit more time but instead you went on to cheat on me. What hurts me isn't the fact you cheated but it was with this retard that can't even say his name properly.
"I didn't want to leave you Rachel but you said out loud that there is no future where the both of us can be together and you are not wrong. I know you think that there is something you can do or even say but there is nothing."
Neil was looking at her to see the pain on her face and he was right to the core. Rachel couldn't even think of what was happening.
"My liege is she the wench that left you? I don't even know why she would think to do such a thing and with whom that man over there. I assume you lack good eyesight, you didn't see the stunning features my liege has. Yet you pick that thing, well I do hope you have a nice life."
Alissa didn't even think twice before she did everything in her power to make sure that she made Rachel feel pain from all angles.
Neil was about to leave when he turned to look at Rachel, "You know I always thought you were more than what I saw your family as. But you didn't even change anything not even your attitude but then I hope you see that there is more to life than all the riches you thought was the main thing in the world. I hope you and your retard friend there don't choke on hate."
Neil turned to leave, he was not even going to stand there for another minute he had delivered the message he wanted to deliver and it was going to stay with Rachel until she was ready to understand that there was nothing she could do.
Neil got into the car with Alissa and they drove off.
