Chapter 14 - I Bought Your Shop!

"I'm just saying, boss, since your shop is called a mall, don't you think it's missing a couple of things?"

Bu Lige finished off his spicy strips and Coke, his tone full of dissatisfaction.

The snacks were undeniably delicious and had extraordinary effects, but there was one glaring issue: the portions were far too small!

Surely, the owner of this shop should realize that the selection needs expanding?

Luo Chuan rolled his eyes at Bu Lige's complaint.

Although he agreed inwardly, he merely said, "New products will be introduced in the future."

"Boss, you've said that three times now." Bu Lige pouted in frustration.

Luo Chuan didn't bother replying.

After a bit more idle chatter, Bu Lige left the store, leaving Luo Chuan in peace once again.

---

At that moment, a luxuriously adorned carriage entered Nine Stars City through the East Gate.

The carriage was pulled by Azure Scaled horses, their imposing presence radiating an air of strength. Azure Scaled horses were rumored to possess traces of dragon blood, and fully grown ones reached the Fortune Realm in power.

Civilians and cultivators alike quickly moved aside, gazing at the carriage with a mix of awe and fear.

The vehicle bore a distinctive insignia: a silver crescent moon.

Anyone in Nine Stars City would recognize it instantly. It was the symbol of the Silver Moon Palace, a formidable faction more powerful than even the mighty Star Empire itself.

"Tsk tsk, who would've thought I'd find myself in this backwater city," the young man in the carriage muttered disdainfully.

"Young Master," an elderly man, seated in the driver's position, cautioned, "the Palace Master gave strict orders to keep a low profile. We're here only to find suitable accommodations, and the Star Empire's strength cannot be underestimated."

"I know, I know..." the young man replied dismissively.

As the carriage rolled through the city streets, the young man peered out the window at the bustling crowd. His eyes reflected unfiltered disgust.

The carriage continued until it passed a narrow alley. Suddenly, the young man caught sight of something that piqued his interest.

"Stop!"

The carriage came to an abrupt halt.

"Young Master, what's the matter?" The elderly driver, Fubo, lifted the curtain, puzzled.

"Tsk tsk, opening a shop in a place like this? Interesting. Fubo, let's go take a look."

The young man stepped out of the carriage, his curiosity evident. Fubo followed closely behind.

---

Before long, the two arrived at the shop.

"Origin Mall!"

The young man read the plaque above the entrance, his brow arching in amusement. "Ha, what a bold name!"

He turned his attention to Luo Chuan, who was lounging on a recliner outside the shop. A quick scan revealed no spiritual fluctuations from the man.

"Hmph, just a mortal," the young man muttered, shaking his head. "Well, living a simple, unremarkable life isn't the worst choice for someone like him."

However, when his gaze shifted into the store, his expression changed drastically. His eyes widened, and his pupils contracted.

"Colored glazed! It's all premium-quality colored glazed!"

The young man couldn't contain his excitement.

He felt as though fate had smiled upon him today. To stumble upon such a treasure trove was truly beyond his expectations.

While colored glazed might be a mortal material, its exquisite beauty made it highly sought after by wealthy merchants and cultivators.

Pure liuli of sufficient quality could fetch hundreds of spirit crystals for a single palm-sized piece!

If he could claim all the colored glazed in this store, his financial worries would be over for good.

"Hey, you!" the young man called out arrogantly. "I'm buying your store!"
