Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: A Stark Warning

**Chapter 12: A Stark Warning

The words Simon spoke hung in the air like a heavy fog, suffocating the room with their weight. He stood tall, his posture rigid with authority, but there was no mistaking the fire in his eyes. His gaze was unrelenting as he focused on Kanye and Travis, two men who had wronged his sisters in ways that Simon couldn't easily forgive.

"I don't want you for my sisters," Simon continued, his voice ice-cold, each word calculated. "If I wanted to, I would bury you here right now, but I can't—not because I can't, but because I love my sisters." He paused, his eyes narrowing, his expression deadly. "When I still see you two being irresponsible men, I will kill you. Mark my words, you'll be dead by daylight."

The atmosphere grew even heavier as the room fell into an uncomfortable silence. Kanye and Travis, once confident in their own personas, now sat frozen, their bodies stiff with fear. Neither of them dared to utter a word; Simon's glare alone was enough to make them feel like prey in front of a predator. They were men who had never felt the weight of consequence until now—until Simon had set his gaze upon them.

The Stark Reality

Simon then turned his attention to Kris Jenner, his mother. Her eyes, filled with concern, met his, but there was an unmistakable understanding between them. She knew her son. She knew the depths of his love for his family, and also, the depths of his capacity for violence when it came to protecting them.

"Do you know what I did when I heard what happened to my sisters?" Simon asked, his voice no longer a warning but a quiet confession. There was a darkness in his words, a heaviness that settled over his shoulders like the weight of an old, tragic memory. "I was court-martialed for killing hundreds because of that news."

Kris's eyes widened slightly, her expression a mix of shock and sorrow. She had always known that Simon was capable of great things, but to hear this now—to hear that her son, her protector, had gone to such extremes for his sisters—was a reminder of the depth of his love and the cost of his loyalty.

"If these guys do it again," Simon continued, his eyes never leaving Kanye and Travis, "I will kill them." The words were spoken with such finality that they hung in the air like a death sentence. "Don't mistake my restraint for weakness, Mom. I'm not someone you want to test."

The Reaction

Kim, Kylie, and the others at the table were eerily quiet. They had all heard rumors, whispers of Simon's past and the things he had done as a soldier, but hearing it spoken aloud with such cold certainty was something else entirely. There was a palpable fear now in the room, not just from Kanye and Travis, but from everyone present. No one wanted to be on the receiving end of Simon's wrath.

Kris, though concerned, was also aware of the storm her son carried within him. "Simon," she said softly, her voice trembling with a mix of concern and respect, "I understand. I do. But you don't have to go this far."

Simon's gaze softened just a fraction, but there was still a dangerous edge to it. "You don't understand, Mom. You didn't hear the pain in their voices. You didn't see how they suffered because of what happened. I couldn't let that go." He took a slow breath, as if trying to calm the rage that simmered just beneath the surface. "But for you... and for Gigi... I'll hold back. For now."

Gigi's Intervention

Gigi, who had been silently observing the exchange, finally spoke up. Her voice was calm, but firm, a reminder of the balance she brought to Simon's life. "Simon," she said, her eyes meeting his, "you're right to protect your family. But we can't let anger rule everything. You're not just a soldier; you're a man who has the power to make choices. I don't want you to lose yourself in vengeance."

Simon turned to her, his expression softening. He loved Gigi with everything he had, and in that moment, he could see the concern in her eyes. She wasn't telling him to forgive, but to choose his path wisely. He didn't have to let his anger define him.

"I won't lose myself," Simon said, his voice quieter now, as if reassured by Gigi's words. He took her hand in his, squeezing it gently. "But I won't stand by and let them hurt my family again. If they do, it won't be me who's responsible for what happens next."

The Men's Reactions

Kanye and Travis, still shaken from Simon's earlier words, now sat even more uncomfortable in their seats. They could feel the weight of Simon's resolve, and neither of them wanted to find out what would happen if they pushed him further. They knew the power Simon held—not just as a soldier, but as a man who had faced unimaginable odds and still stood tall. They were terrified of what might happen if they dared to repeat their past mistakes.

"I hope you two understand," Simon said, his tone once again calm but with a sharp edge. "This is your only warning. I'll let it go for now, but I won't hesitate if it happens again." He stood up, his presence commanding the room. He didn't need to say more. The message was clear.

A Family Divided

As Simon turned to leave the table, Gigi stood with him, her hand still intertwined with his. She didn't want to let him go, but she also knew that Simon was a man of action. He wouldn't allow this to go unpunished, not even for his family's sake. The air had shifted—tension still lingered, but there was also a kind of unspoken understanding.

Kris looked at her children—Kim, Kylie, and the others—and then back at Simon and Gigi as they walked away. There was love in her gaze, but also worry. She had always tried to protect her family, but Simon had made it clear that there were lines even she couldn't cross.

Kanye and Travis, for the first time in a long while, had no words. The silent threat in Simon's voice would remain with them forever.
