Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: The Warning

**Chapter 13: The Warning

The dinner table remained silent after Simon and Gigi had left the room. No one dared to speak immediately; the tension was thick, almost suffocating. The entire atmosphere had changed, and those present now felt the weight of Simon's words settle heavily over them. It was clear that Simon's capacity for violence was not something to be taken lightly. His warning to Kanye and Travis had been sharp, precise, and filled with the kind of chilling finality that only someone with his experience could convey.

Kris Jenner sat at the head of the table, her expression unreadable. She had seen this side of Simon before, many times, but it never failed to shake her. Her son was capable of immense love, but when it came to his family, he was also capable of terrifying wrath. She looked around at her children and their guests, her gaze steady and unyielding.

"Listen to me," Kris said, her voice steady, but the authority behind it was undeniable. "You all need to understand something about Simon. When he says something, he means it. When he was a child, he was never one to show his emotions the way you all might expect. He doesn't wear his feelings on his sleeve, and he doesn't let you see what he's truly capable of. But I know my son better than anyone."

The room fell even quieter as Kris's words hung in the air. She leaned forward, her eyes scanning each person at the table, making sure they understood the gravity of what she was about to say.

"Do you remember the story I told you all about when Simon was just a little boy?" she continued, her voice low but firm. "He was maybe six or seven years old, and one day, a dog tried to bite his sister. It was nothing more than a stray, but Simon—he told me, right there and then, that he was going to find that dog and finish it."

Kim and Kylie, who had heard this story before, exchanged uneasy glances, their previous shock at Simon's warning now growing into a more personal understanding. But it was Kanye and Travis, the two men who had earned Simon's ire, who were the most affected. They knew Simon had a reputation in the military and that his skills were deadly. But they didn't fully realize the extent of his past—or the unwavering determination that drove him.

Kris continued, her voice carrying an eerie calmness. "The next morning, I found that dog. Dead. And I'm not telling you this to scare you, but because I want you to understand something. Simon doesn't make threats. He doesn't speak out of anger or frustration. When he says something, he does it." She leaned back in her chair, her eyes narrowing slightly as she fixed her gaze on Kanye and Travis. "If he says he will kill you if you hurt his sisters again, trust me, he will follow through. And there will be no mercy, not from him. I know him better than anyone, and I've seen him take actions that would terrify most people. You don't want to be the ones to push him to that point."

Kanye shifted uncomfortably in his seat. He had been famous for a long time and had dealt with his own share of public scrutiny, but this? This was different. This was not the kind of conflict he could control with wealth or influence. This was a man who had walked through hell and come back stronger, and Kanye felt the full weight of that realization sink in.

Travis, too, had been a part of many high-profile situations, but nothing had prepared him for this. The fear that now gripped him was palpable. He had never considered that someone could hold such power over him—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally. They both exchanged a glance, and there was a shared understanding: they had just walked into something far beyond their control.

The Weight of the Warning

Kris didn't let up. She knew her son, and she knew how far he was willing to go to protect the people he loved. "You two," she said sharply, her voice cutting through the silence, "better clean up your act. Simon is not someone you want to test. If you think this is a game, you are sadly mistaken. Do you really want to see what happens when he decides he's done giving second chances?"

The air in the room seemed to grow colder with each passing second, the weight of her words sinking in deeper. Kris's eyes were filled with a knowing, unwavering certainty. She had seen Simon's darker side, and she knew just how dangerous it could be when he was pushed to the brink. She was not exaggerating—she was speaking from experience.

"Because if you keep going down this road," Kris added, her voice steady and unyielding, "you will beg for mercy. And I can promise you, there will be no mercy. None. He's not like anyone you've dealt with before. He will do exactly what he says he will do."

The Aftermath

The room was still, the tension thick. Kim, Kylie, and the others had nothing more to say. They knew Simon, but hearing it from their mother—someone who had raised him and watched him grow—gave them an entirely new perspective. They had seen his calm, composed demeanor in public, his charm, his intelligence, and his strength. But they had never witnessed firsthand the cold efficiency with which he dealt with those who harmed his family.

Kanye and Travis, however, were still reeling from the weight of what they had just heard. They exchanged another glance, but this time, there was no bravado in their eyes. There was fear—a primal fear of the kind of man Simon had become. They had known him only as a soldier, but now they understood he was more than that. He was a protector, a warrior, and a force of nature, one that they didn't want to cross.

"Clean up your act," Kris repeated one last time, her eyes fixed on them. "For your sake, and for your future. Because if Simon decides to come for you, you won't even see it coming. And trust me, you won't survive it."

With that final warning, the room fell into a heavy silence. It was clear that this dinner, once meant to bring the family together, had shifted the dynamics in a way no one could have predicted. The game had changed, and Simon's family—and his enemies—now knew exactly what kind of man he was.
