"A little outlet, huh?" growled Luna, shooting an angry glance at Damian. Yet, rather than ask him to stop his little sister, she turned back to focus on the midget berserker, who just launched another barage of fists at her.
"I suppose I could use one of those as well," she snarled at Lilith, before finally starting to fight back seriously.
The luxurious bedroom became a chaotic whirlwind of shadows and moonlight as the two women clashed. The grand canopy bed trembled from their clash, and the rich velvet curtains swayed violently from the gusts of energy being unleashed.
Fortunately, the room was built to withstand the wild lovemaking of more powerful Bloodkin than these two. Comparatively, these two non-awakened fighters were like children swinging sticks. It would endure.
Meanwhile, Lilith's fists, wreathed in blood-red energy, hammered against Luna's glowing pistols, sparks and crimson trails streaking through the air with every collision.
Luna's expression shifted from annoyance to determination as she started to truly match Lilith's intensity. She twisted her body with each deflection, her moonlit pistols whirling in an elegant dance to parry and counter.
"You're scrappy, I'll give you that!" she spat, her voice tight with exertion. "But you're not going to win this!"
Lilith didn't respond with words. Her eyes narrowed, and the shadows in the room seemed to pulse in time with her movements. Tendrils of darkness lashed out from behind her, darting towards Luna's legs like serpents.
Luna dodged and weaved, her pistols discharging beams of silver light that shattered the shadowy appendages before they could reach her.
"Oh, so you want to play with tricks now?" Luna growled. She crouched low, spinning one of her pistols around her finger before slamming it into the floor. A ripple of moonlight erupted outward, dispelling the shadows and forcing Lilith to retreat a step.
But Lilith was relentless. She darted forward again, her smaller frame a blur of motion. With a feral grin, she feinted a punch to Luna's face, only to twist mid-motion and aim a kick at her midsection. Luna blocked just in time, the impact sending her skidding back a few feet.
"Not bad," Luna admitted begrudgingly, rolling her shoulder. "But you're too predictable."
Lilith's lips curled into a smirk. "Am I?" she asked, her voice soft and deceptively sweet.
Before Luna could react, a fine mist of crimson droplets erupted from Lilith's knuckles, each droplet glinting with a dangerous sheen. The mist formed a swirling barrier around her, and with a sharp gesture, she sent it flying toward Luna in a wave.
Luna's eyes widened, and she threw herself into a backflip, narrowly avoiding the razor-sharp cloud. She landed gracefully on one knee, her pistols snapping up in unison. "You're full of surprises," she muttered, her tone tinged with genuine respect.
Damian, still leaning casually against the wall, chuckled under his breath. "Oh yeah, she likes to keep people on their toes, alright."
"Would you shut up already?" Luna snapped, glaring at him for a split second before refocusing on Lilith. "If you're not going to help, at least stop distracting me!"
Damian shrugged, his amusement undiminished. "Oh, but you're doing so well on your own. Why would I ruin the fun?"
Lilith took advantage of the brief distraction. With a flick of her wrist, she manipulated the remaining blood mist to converge behind Luna, forming jagged spikes that shot forward with deadly precision.
But Luna was faster. She spun on her heel, a burst of moonlight radiating from her pistols to intercept the attack. The resulting explosion of energy sent both women sliding backward, their breathing heavy but their resolve unshaken.
"This is kind of fun," Luna muttered, raising her pistols to chest level. She took a steadying breath, her eyes glowing faintly with a silvery hue. "But let's finish this."
Lilith's smirk grew wider, and the shadows around her began to coalesce into a solid form. "Finally," she replied, her voice dripping with anticipation.
Damian's grin widened as he watched the two women prepare for their next exchange. "Now this is a fight worth watching," he murmured, his tone carrying an odd mix of pride and mischief.
Despite her irritation, Luna couldn't help but feel a flicker of admiration for Lilith. The girl was fierce, cunning, and utterly unrelenting. But that only made her more determined to win.
"Come on, then," Luna said, her voice steady. "Show me what you've got, kid."
Lilith's eyes narrowed at being called a kid, and she didn't hesitate. Surging forward, she wreathed her glove-type catalyst in blood and shadow, ready to meet Luna's glowing pistols head-on. The clash of their powers sent a shockwave rippling through the room, and Damian watched it all with a proud grin.

After almost an hour of fighting, Lilith was finally tuckered out. By this point, she was lying spread-eagled on the stone floor, panting heavily. A few steps away from her, Luna was panting as well, but she remained on one knee and appeared in a better condition.
Of course, the fighters had pulled their punches and didn't actually try to kill the other, so the worst they suffered was a few bruises.
As Damian had predicted, she turned out to be the stronger party. The room had turned into a mess, with all the furniture blasted off to the side, creating a kind of arena in the middle of it all. Yet, everything remained marginally in one piece.
"Are you… done yet…?" Luna smirked and wheezed with respect and even relief in her voice.
"Y— Yeah…" Lilith groaned softly, some pain radiating from her voice. Suddenly turning back into his adorable little sister, Damian noticed she was looking at him pleadingly.
Chuckling, Damian walked onto the battlefield and bent down to pick up his exhausted little sister. "You were amazing, little Lili," he grinned, knowing she was fishing for compliments that he was more than willing to provide.
Lilith smiled happily and cuddled into his arms with her last strength. Yet, Damian then raised an eyebrow. "But, I asked you to be nice, and you ignored me. So I hope you at least got all of that out of your system. I won't allow you to attack my girlfriend every time you meet her."
Lilith's expression worsened a little, and she glanced unhappily at Luna, who was still down on one knee. Yet, there was a glint of respect in there.
"Fine…" she muttered softly, with narrowed eyes. "But that doesn't mean I approve! I've got a few tests planned to make sure her feelings are genuine…"
Hearing that, Luna's eyebrows started twitching, but before she could respond, Damian crouched down in front of her with Lilith still in his arms. "You were amazing, too, Luna," he smiled, full of genuine appreciation and charm.
"Hmpf, yeah, yeah," the Moonkin heir snorted, before rising to her feet, followed by Damian. "Just kiss me and go take care of your sister. But then come back here immediately! We need to talk! I also want to know what the hell just happened!"
"Gladly!" Damian chuckled and quickly followed orders. Pressing his lips against hers, their tongues quickly started wrestling with each other. Luna was particularly lively, as adrenaline still pumped through her veins.
In Damian's arms, Lilith looked at the exchange strangely as a mixture of jealousy and desire rose inside her. Yet, she didn't say a word, only snorting and grumbling a little under her breath.
