Chapter 30 - Refreshing Night of Incoming Rest and Scheming

Pale-moon light had arisen on the night sky of Teldrium, blowing the chilling night wind toward every building that declared the competition of showing their illuminating lights from the projection and even the exterior. One of the embarking buildings included the BBQ Superioxa, a crowded restaurant in the Southeast area of Teldrium.

The restaurant building itself contained wooden-wall-like holograms planted on the exterior of the building wall. A group of floating titles that spilled out the name of the restaurant, occupied the above center of the building and ignited the dancing torches on the entire upper part.

On the top of the dancing torch letters, a glimmering projection of the meat being heated by the circular grill was brightly displayed in the middle of the rooftop as the central spotlight. Inside the restaurant, tiny-ribs lamps widely shone their amber light in the entire room, showing a crowd of office workers and teenagers spending their dinner time on their separate tables.

Among the visitors of the restaurant who joyfully enjoyed their meals, Gilbron alongside his two companions occupied the seat on the edge right of the restaurant. Specifically, they sat on the long balmy sofa made of wooden brown projection and a table with a floating circular grill in the center.

The grill tenderly kindled the molten flames that warmed up the bunch of raw meat such as steaks, ribs, slices, and many others. Casmine who was beside The Young Man gave a displeased look at the person sitting in front of them, continuously chewing and adding more raw meat on the grill.

The person who darted her glare onto it was the long blonde and collarbone-style woman, who also had a similar physical appearance to Casmine, who recently swallowed a couple of slices of steak from her golden wooden motif plate. She wore a gold sports tank top, long black denim pants, and white shoes with striking purplish outlines on the side parts. The woman hummed joyfully before picking the freshly cooked sliced hamburger meat on the grill with her chopstick and throwing it into her craving jaw.

"Till this day, I still didn't believe that you are my twin sister, Lorina," Casmine bickered in annoyance, watching her twin quickly chew and swallow the newest meat. "And even more confusing, you are still as thin as me even though you eat like a wild animal."

Lorina grunted, "It's the all-you-can-eat restaurant, sis. I can eat as much as I want."

"This is also a good chance to refresh my mind from facing a crowd of people on the train and even worse on the bus going here," Lorina uttered, putting four steak slices onto her plate at once.

"You must be jealous that you didn't have my appetite?" Lorina teased, provoking her twin sister to grumble. "Irony coming from you, someone who loved to seduce idiotic men and drain their life forces after you gave them the most unforgettable pleasure time."

Casmine sighed and briefly stared at The Young Man who chuckled. "I hate to say this…you might have a good point."

"However, I hadn't done that ever since I met Gilbron," Casmine clarified, placing her alluring stare at The Young Man briefly smirking and chewing the sliced bacon. " I was glad you persuaded me to leave that path and join you instead."

Gilbron finished chewing and joined the conversation, "To be fair…I only recruited you because Lorina insisted on me."

"Also it's better to have more companions like you accompanying my journey," The Young Man assured, excitedly smiling at Casmine who comfortably grinned. "Without your two, I most likely already being captured in the last encounter with The Triumph Makers."

Casmine expressed her agitated look toward The Young Man and even scratched her arms, frigidly gritting her teeth. Noticing his ally started to drown in sorrow, Gilbron caressed her on the cheek, freeing his eager smile. His smile lightened up The Woman thought as she sheepishly giggled, grabbing the cold soda and taking a little sip."

"Every time the word Triumph Makers mention, I…always remembered how terrifying Prila is as an enemy," Casmine exclaimed. "One Triumph Makers I wanted to avoid the most."

"Or perhaps you are just a coward," Lorina scolded, putting three sliced beef into her mouth and consuming it. "Remember when you escaped and left me to be captured by Prila?"

"At least I rescued you alone from your cell!!" Casmine raised her voice in bitterness. "You should be grateful, Lorina!"

"I'm still pissed you willingly left me there," Lorina grumbled.

Casmine rolled her eyes. "I admit I made a questionable decision because I was too afraid of Prila especially after Gilbron was banished by her and The Triumph Makers effort combined."

"Her cowardly decision can be considered a smart choice," Gilbron proclaimed, painting a contented grin on his lips. If she hadn't escaped back then, you would not be here right now, Lorina."

"She is also the one who helped to return to Earth by using an interdimensional device from Dr.Alvaros," Gilbron proclaimed, widening his grin. "

Casmine giggled and licked her lip, "Yeah, the poor mad scientist Doctor that I snatched out his life force."

"As always, Gilbron, you defended her action," Lorina bickered.

Lorina shrouded her entire face with a furrow of bitterness at her twin sister who enticingly blinked her eyes at Gilbron, tilting her head to the right. Gilbron and Casmine picked the slices of hamburger beef on the grill and neatly placed them on their plates while Lorina panted in bothersome

Nevertheless, Lorinas sipped the rest of the soda until her glasses became empty, tossing away the irritating mood at her twin. Then, she pinned her sight to Gilbron and rotated her neck to the right, covering her mind with a lingering curiosity. It attracted The Young Man to center his stare on her.

"So, so, let me ask this question just to make sure, you returned Teldrium to challenge the new hero?" Lorina asked, snickering.

"Absolutely yes," Gilbron spoke brazenly.

"Do you prefer to track his whereabouts or meet him when he appeared on the crime scene?" Lorina proposed another question, picking up the sliced steak and dropping into her mouth, speedily chewing it.

Gilbron hummed and replied, "Well to be fair, I'm eager to meet him after he finished his villain."

"However, I suggest you activate Ghost Compass just in case if we coincidentally encounter him," The Young Man suggested, intriguing Casmine as she pointed her eyes at him.

Casmine stroked The Young Man's cheek and said, "Why do you prefer to meet him coincidentally rather than find his whereabouts?"

"I believed it can increase my excitement, especially with the unpredictability," Gilbron mentioned enthusiastically.

"What a silly answer," Casmine admitted before she tittered and continued her statement with a slight cheerfulness. All I can say is good luck conveniently finding him."

"Yeah, it's quite stupid even for your odd standard, Gilbron," Lorina agreed with her twin and sighed. "Regardless, I shall do your suggestion."

Lorina gestured her shrugging arms and uttered, "Maybe Lady Luck gave us the favor tomorrow. Who knows."

"By the way let us finish our delighted meal," Lorina persuaded the others when she glanced at the floating grill, fueling her head with a glutton and shakily licking her lips.

Casmine squeezed The Young man's arm and mentioned, "We still have plenty of activity tomorrow."

"Including buying the new makeup and perfume in Lazzania. I heard there are plenty of discounts." Casmine explained, retreating her squeezing hand and giggling.

"And buying the newest Cardvalion booster pack to complete my deck," Gilbron announced happily, encouraging the two girls to heave their irritated furrows.

"Don't forget about it, Casmine and Lorina." The Young Man added, chirping and waving his finger. "Or else you two will be the ones who paid for our meal.

Lorina flustered her hand and bittered, "Fine, fine, Gilbron."

"As long as he will be paid my stuff…I wouldn't mind," Casmine admitted relaxedly

The conversation related to the next plan on encountering their next target reached its conclusion with three of them eating their sliced meats. Gilbron raised his enlivened stare above, glowing the orange gleam in his eyes as he hoped to confront the new hero of Teldrium tomorrow.

A freezing wind also breezily gusted on the front gate of the spacious house belonging to the Walteron Family. Despite it being midnight the house still receives guests as he recently arrived and stood at the front gate, collectedly waiting for the owner of the house to set free the gate.

The guest was revealed to be Gdark who currently wore his usual magenta trenchcoat and long white pants, sneaking his heedful sight at the black watch. Then, he revolved his glance toward the pale moonlight above, clenching his knuckle in dissatisfaction the longer he pondered at it. Gdark also unveiled his irked wince, igniting the dark torches within his beating heart.

The torches promptly faded out and he wiped out the enraged expression when he watched the door automatically slide to the right. Instead, Gdark marked his rigid look toward the house owner, his mother, Marla. She displayed her displeased face at him, groaning as her son coldly stepped forward.

"Instead of greeting, you're just ignoring me as if I am a statue," Marla scolded her son, provoking Gdark to pause his step and center his focus on her.

"For god sake, Gdark, can you even show a sense of concern or empathy to your mother!" Marla yelled.

Gdark silently grunted and countered, "Is that a problem for you, Mrs Minister of Education?"

"Not a problem, but please can you stop acting like this?" Marla demanded, worriedly frowning. "Ever since you returned from your journey, you have become more ignorant and cold toward me."

"You even made more worried when you followed your father's footsteps as a Superhero," Marla added. "I'm scared you will end up in the almost exact situation as him."

"Then, it's better to rest," Gdark insisted, cackling and pridefully claiming. "Also let me tell you this, one of the motivations for becoming Viscable is to surpass Sirgion in every possible way, Mrs. Minister of Education."

"Rather than worrying about me, you should think more about how to make the newest study program for the village successful," Gdark insisted.

Marla agitatedly grumbled, "As much I wanted to argue with you, sadly, it's already midnight."

"It's time for me to get some rest for my busy schedule," Marla muttered and warned. "Remember we are going to discuss this later."

Gdark giggled, "Sounds good to me since tonight I have to do plenty of activities related on improving my power."

"Now if you excuse me, can you walk away from my sight Mrs Minister!" Gdark ordered bluntly.

Watching his mother take a few steps closer to the fence and shoot her vexed stare at him, Gdark coldly took a few steps into the house. A time for restful sleep didn't get into Gdark's thoughts as he decided to initiate his next activity to improve his arsenal to defeat the next mighty foe blocking his path to success.
