Early afternoon light warmly shone on every rooftop of Teldrium building, including The Grand Calvarias, a shopping mall on the East side. More specifically, Grand Calvarias was a three-story and spacious blocky building with a hardened bluish holographic shell covering the whole silk-white wall outside.
The crowd of life projections from diverse brand logos displayed the chosen sport from the holographic shell. Examples of life projection include the projection of the long wavy pink-haired woman busy putting her lipstick on the edge of the left, a projection of the full-white cheery boy with a green t-shirt carrying the back while walking, and many others representing each of the spotlight brands.
The crowd of people filled most of the area of the mall from the lowes t to the highest ones. The majority of the crowd of people fixated their excited gazes on the center spot presented the levitating circular white stage made of solidified white projection. Furthermore, a man with a glittering red suit and long black pants eagerly waves his hand on the wide screens showing the slide show of discount products such as large mountain backpackers.
"If you wonderful visitors wanted hiking, relax!!. Grand Calvarias official store has now launched a brand new mountain backpack with a 60% discount only for today!!" The red-suited man shouted, increasing the volume of his voice by tapping the holographic mike on his left grip. "I bet you are all excited to hear this!!"
Casmine and Gilbron from the back of the line glanced their sights toward the slideshow. She covered her ears and winced in annoyance at the speaker who raised his voice followed by the visitors' cheers. The Young Man glanced to his companion who stretched further her lips, gently patting her on the back of her neck.
"Feeling annoyed with the loud noise from the speaker?" The Young Man asked, cheerfully smiling luring Casmine to giggle and puff away the bothering air from her lungs, retreating her hand from her ears
"I'm only here to find out if there is a good discount for makeup and perfume," Casmine explained and assumed. "It seems the mall's official store only provided hiking equipment for the discount."
"Most likely, some teenagers need healing, especially after the Uprising Venom Raid yesterday," Casmine added. "Mundane stress and pressure."
"What weak-minded and self-absorbed youngsters," Casmine mocked, biting her lips in bitterness.
"They are not superpower beings like us. So it's pretty obvious they couldn't stand a chance against stress," Gilbron said calmly and teased, "You also used to do that kind of stuff too."
Casmine groaned, "I only did it because I was pettily annoyed with Lorina."
"The only difference is I drained the life force of some foolish men to enhance my power," Casmine uttered, widening her thrilled grin and licking her cherry-red lips. "Which is much more beneficial than those idiots who wasted their parent wallets."
"Oh yeah, you had some access to your previous victim powers. Quite a good deal for me." The Young Man admitted, evoking Casmine to soothingly burst a giggle.
"Not going to lie, I do enjoy it a bit. By the way, let's just go to the Lazzania store,' Casmine suggested, wrapping The Young Man's arm and bumping her head onto him. "Lorina probably knew we going there."
"You're right, It's already been 30 minutes waiting for her. I bet Lorina got stuck in a huge line of people since Galoong Tea has launched its viral drink," Gilbron remarked, rotating his sight to the right.
Hence, Casmine and Gilbron headed to the left, leaving the crowd of people and heading to their next objective within the shopping mall. At the same time, The Young Man briefly glimmered the orange ray of light within his eyes when he marked his gaze above, avidly smirking.
Couple of minutes later, on the East side of Grand Calvaria's second floor, Gdark composedly blended with a crowd of people who were thrilled to pick their mind-refreshing destination. A line of young visitors went to the store with a human-size white-frame rectangular phone projection on the entrance gate, convincing Gdark to shake his head in a little bit of annoyance consuming his mind.
A long brown-haired young woman with a black capo hat and long pink dress from the balmy sofa on the corner pinned her eyes at Gdark as he walked past her. She gripped the purplish shopping bag made of the hardened projection and got up when Gdark began to be further from her, immediately following him.
As she reached the direct distance of Gdark's bag, she hopped on and tapped her hand on his left shoulder. Gdark heedfully rotated his sight to the back and broadened his surprise sight at the woman, taking one step closer. The brown-haired woman tilted her head and happily chuckled, painting an intrigued grin on Gdark's lips.
"So you decided to become Candila Ordan again, Prila?" Gdark teased, bursting out a hushed laughter. "
Prila rolled her eyes and answered, "It's only preventing the crowd of fans from asking for an autograph"
"Because damn, those people can be annoying as hell," Prila said, biting her lips and nervously sneaking her sight down. "And for their safety too since I am one of the Supehroes who didn't wear a mask."
"You always treated Candila Ordan only as a disguise right?" Gdark guessed, pridefully crossing his arms.
Prila nodded and smiled, "Absolutely."
"And you must be here because your leader assigned you to keep an eye on me?" Gdark took another guess.
Prila blissfully chuckled, "Actually, it was supposed to be Layfree's job, but I wanted to take part in watching your next move too."
"Compared to the rest of the members, I'm the one who knows you the most," Prila assured, stretching her smile. "So it's more efficient."
Gdark grunted, "I supposed your excuse is legible."
"I thought you were going to take some rest after our last duel," Gdark murmured, turning around and locking his delighted stare to the store on the left. "The last duel that showed me you are….the strongest opponent I faced so far."
Prila simpered, "Such unfortunate I was knocked out because of exhaustion."
"I already plan a couple of amazing things when you become the newest member of Triumph Makers," Prila confessed.
"Then, try next time," Gdark snarkily replied, freeing his allured snigger. "I'll be ready for the rematch anytime."
"Let's move on from that," Prila uttered and cleared her throat before she continued her statement.
"Alright then, what stuff did you buy this time?" Gdark asked, peeking at the back being carried by Prila.
"Dresses and t-shirts for my mother in M&P" Prila explained, lifting her holographic bag. "Lucky today's M&P has a lot of amazing promos so I can buy a lot of stock."
"I see," Gdark answered, returning his watchful sight at the store.
Prila promptly pinned her stare toward the particular store that became Gdark's center of attention. More specifically, her eyes captured the clear sighting of the store with the wide-opened black-frame gates blistering the bright white outlines. The store's gate exposed a group of multicolored card projections neatly floating on both the left and right sides of it and the middle above conveying a couple of blistering cotton-white letters stating, Dolcardians.
"Seems you are not moving on from the trading card game?" Prila mumbled, panting and placidly closing her sight after finishing observing the store.
"I just wanted relief little bit of nostalgia before I returned home and finished the last backpack," Gdark assured, slowly stepping into the store and sinking his hand into the left side of his pants pocket.
"Do you want to go there to buy the new booster pack or want to flex your skill?" Prila let out another question.
Gdark widened his grin and grabbed the magenta deck box with a holographic surface from the pocket. He brazenly revolved the deck box to Prila who released a high-pitched cackle, shaking her head. The longer he gripped the deck box, the more captivated aura streamed into the course of his veins.
"Why would I need to buy a new booster box if my current deck is more than enough," Gdark asserted proudly, dispersing the black aura when he waved the deck box to the right.
"Are you strong enough to hold the current meta?" Prila rebutted, pressing her puzzling furrow.
"I have several limited cards that only pros like me have," Gdark stated. "Also my deck is full of deadly and unstoppable combo ."
"Beating your opponent with old, yet broken cards?" Prila assumed, uncontrollably blaring a high pitch snickering.
"Correct assumption," Gdark asserted, flipping the deck box and resuming his statement. "I couldn't wait to test this deck on the poor fellow who relies on the current meta."
An hour passed and the shopping activities of the girls were finished as Gilbron carried the two tiny pinkish bags on both his arms. Casmine joyfully walked beside The Young Man before briefly turning her gaze to the back, giving an irked wince at her twin, Lorina slurping the venti-size Caramel Tea float with a huge chunk of caramel sauce covering it.
"Enjoy the special caramel float?" Casmine asked, returning her sight to focus on The Young Man.
Lorina pulled her straw and expressed her dissatisfaction, "Not good, not good."
"The caramel is too sweet. It's like I'm drinking sugar water with a little flavor of tea poured into it," Lorina stated, flipping the plastic bottle and cringing. "I think this is the worst Galoong Tea product."
"What you wanted to finish it? No, thank you," Casmine immediately refused the offer after her sister lifted her drink. "It only ruins my perfect body."
Lorina rolled her eyes and groaned, "Sis come on, why do you always act as if you are a supermodel?"
"Come on we are not even a normal human," Lorina complained. "We can reshape our body easily."
"Besides you ate a lot of poor men's life force," Lorina countered
"As I told you I do not want to consume an oversweet like this," Casmine grumbled with a bitter tone. "Also, consuming life force is much tastier."
"Whatever you said, sis," Lorina murmured and continued. "How's your beauty shopping?"
Casmine proudly smirked, "It's all great, Lorina. I got what I wanted the most."
"I even get a free lipstick for buying the special perfume of the day. It's all thanks to Gilbron," Casmine said, thankfully. I couldn't wait to try it when we went into the hotel."
"Perhaps, I should ask Gilbron to accompany me when buying the trending beverages," Lorina assumed, peeking her tempting eyes toward The Young Man. "Especially with him can regenerate our online money with his absurdly cosmic power."
Lorina chuckled, "Almost like we had infinite money,"
"Or maybe you should stop buying viral or trending stuff," Casmine insisted. "Everything that is overexposure usually can be bad or overrated at best."
Suddenly, Gilbron paused his approaching steps being followed by the twins who painted their puzzling looks. The twins gasped in surprise as they recently arrived at the front gate of Dolcardians. Pondering at the front gate kindled the eagerness within The Young Man as he pulled his deck box from his pocket.
"It's time to complete my deck set, Casmine, Lorina," Gilbron stated, mesmerizing at the red deck box and delightfully beaming.
"Now it's your job to accompany me this time, you two" The Young Man let out a perplexed reminder, encouraging Casmine to blissfully titter and Lorina to grumble in an unpleasant demeanor.
"Since you paid the hotel and our expanses, fine, fine," Lorina bickered, whistling. "One of the strongest beings in the world still acts like a card game geek."
"I'm more surprised a cowardly supermodel didn't even complain about this stupid thing," Lorina added, provoking her twin to sneer at her. "Either this part of your deal of him paying your makes or something more than that."
"Quit complaining, Lorina. Just enjoy the day with him," Casmine suggested. "Besides, is The Ghost Compass still active?"
"It is," Lorina confirmed, pointing her fingers above left and twinkling mixture of pinkish and green flare on her right eye shortly.
"As much as convenient things happen can be non-sensical, there is no way the new hero will ever spend in that kind of place," Lorina commented.
The flow of Lorina's complaint was interrupted by The Young Man impatiently heading into the card store, securely clenching his deck box. Casmine meekly sneered and decided to follow her close companion who went further to the inside, being consumed by the desire to complete his deck.
Regardless, Lorina hesitantly took a few steps forward to catch up with the two. Sadly, she couldn't move forward as her legs trembled, and felt a shiver sting into the course of her veins. Lorina rotated her heavy neck to the left, gasping in quivering shock with her discovery which was a floating green compass with the below frame taking the form of the wavery-hair woman freeing her craving jaw.
Moreover, the glowing amber compass arrow was precisely appointed to the direction of the store's front gate. An abnormal finding from the compass transpired in the form of polymerized dark and magenta rays radiating on the compass arrow, unfolding a look of incredulity on Lorina's face. It signaled the appearance of Gilbron's incoming foe most likely arrived in the card game, forcing Lorina to wag her head in bafflement.
Thank god, I'm the only one who can see The Ghost Compass with its finding I never even believed The Guy that caught Gilbron's interest was inside this card shop!! This is one of the most contrive coincidences I have ever seen! IT'S FREAKING INSANE!!!
