We tried to follow the trails of this inside job. Over 10 people have been missing and these are people who weren't easily noticed around the pack. They were either alone or have no family, so it was only when they were needed that they noticed that they were gone. Nathan tried to travk their steps but it seemed they were lured out without any form of struggle and that was a clean job. It was difficult to find out who had done it.
After helping them out in the little way I can, I wanted to stay. Every instinct in me screamed that leaving this pack now, knowing what kind of threat that was hovering, was a mistake. But Eddie and my father still stood by what they wanted. Or what they thought was good for the pack. They both, dismissed my concerns like I was a pup worried about shadows in the dark.
"We will be fine," he said firmly, his sharp gaze locking onto mine. "This is our territory. We know how to protect it."
