I held on to the bundle of letters tightly in my hand as I stormed through the halls of the mansion. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions, anger, betrayal, confusion. I had spent months believing whatever Nora had told me, trusting her guidance, only to uncover the web of lies she had woven around me. And now, these letters proved she had known about my powers long before I did. She had hidden things from me, manipulated my life in ways I was only beginning to understand.

And I was done with it.

I found her in the study, seated at her desk, flipping through an old, worn-out book. The sight of her sitting there so calmly, as if she hadn't been orchestrating my entire life in the shadows, made my blood boil.

She looked up when I entered, her expression unreadable. "Justina," she said smoothly, as if nothing had changed. "You look upset."

I threw the letters onto the desk in front of her. "Explain these."
