Young Hinata can be seen on the bank shore, the coast of the sea gracing his slender foot as he slightly dipped them in. Despite just being sixteen years old, Hinata possessed a slender body envied by all.The milky white skin attracting endless attention. His shoulder length dark blue hair was packed in a messy ponytail. His sparkling eyes, dark blue, vast like the deep blue sea was void of emotions. He was known for being cold and quiet with a mysterious aura encompassing him.
" Hinata, Hiiinaata" his older brother, Haruki called. He stopped in his tracks and looked at the sight before him. He has always considered favoured as he had been blessed with a magnificent being as a brother. Haruki was known for being the only one Hinata speaks to. So if a major decision is to be made, it's Haruki's job to inform his younger brother and convince him.
" You've been out here for quite a while now" Haruki said as he sat beside his brother. Hinata hummed in response and Haruki chuckled. " C'mon don't be harsh to your only dear brother" he said but was replied with silence. Unlike Hinata, Haruki had red shoulder length hair with red eyes. Though playful, he's known for being a lion. One that won't bite if not provoked but can destroy once provoked.
" I need to tell ya something, lil bro" he finally said after moments of silence.
" I know, that's why you're here. And don't call me lil bro" Hinata retorted.
" Hinaaaa, Hina-chan" he replied teasingly, and Hinata shot him a deadly glare
" Okay, okay, I give up" he said laughing with his hands up. " I know better than to provoke my dear bro..... Hinata, about swimm....."
" I only swim free, you know " Hinata said cutting him off.
" That's my brother for you" Haruki grinned. " You didn't even let me finish my sentence huh?"
" If you know the answer already then quit bothering me Haruki" Hinata replied, annoyance evident in his voice.
" I know Hinata, I really do, but why won't you give it a try. You have pure talents and you could make it to the Olympics" Haruki said with care.
" It's a hassle." Hinata simply replied.
" We'll talk about it later okay, I'm done packing our bags." He said nudging his brother playfully
" I told you not to touch my things" Hinata said
" If I don't do it, who will? You find everything a hassle so just appreciate while I'm being nice " Haruki said feigning sadness and pouted. He knew how to break Hinata's resolve a little. Unfortunately only him knew how to.
" Thank you" Hinata murmured with no emotion in his eyes
" Hinata.... A smile would do the trick you know? He said teasingly as he stood up. Hinata shot him a fierce glare and Haruki laughed as he started leaving.
" It's almost dinner time, so come home fast" he said waving his hand.
" Seriously what's his deal?" Hinata said. Sometimes Hinata wondered if he was a living being. After the incident since when he was little, he became emotionless, no matter how hard he tried, his face was always aloof, cold and passionless. The only time a little warmth creeped into him was in the water.
After a while, he made his way home. His mother had just set the table and Haruki was sitting on one of the dining chairs. Hinata went his favourite chair. It was his father's favourite chair. They began eating and the silence was becoming unbearable and the air, heavy.
" Have you boys completely packed your bags? We're leaving early in the morning tomorrow." Their mother said breaking the silence.
" Ok`asan, we're fully ready" Haruki said. He always called his mom that way to prevent unnecessary arguments that might occur between her and Hinata.
" Hinata, you should try to start doing things yourself. Your brother won't be there for you always" she said and it looked like what Haruki was trying to prevent will eventually happen. Hinata didn't reply but glared at her.
" I wonder when you'll grow up and stop acting like a spoilt brat. It's no wonder you have no friends. Be more emotional" she continued, frustration in her voice. And that did it. Hinata slammed his spoon on the table, stood up, went to his room and closed the door with a loud whack.
" Mom you shouldn't say that, we should always be there for him. He's still a little boy and what you said was too much." Haruki said, the anger apparent in his voice.
" He's like this because you're always spoiling him. He doesn't even respect his mother. Can you see that?" She replied.
" I'm going to his room" he stated and left angrily. Their mother wore a worried look on her face.
