It's a new week at the argentum academy,
Professor Alexander stood at the front of the history class, surveying the room with a keen eye. "Today, we're going to explore some of the most fascinating creatures in ancient mythology," he announced, his voice dripping with enthusiasm.
"The Fire Wolf, for example, was said to roam the forests of ancient Europe," Professor Alexander began, writing on the blackboard with a piece of chalk. "Its fur was as black as coal, and its eyes glowed like embers."
Lyra raised her hand, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Professor Alexander, what kind of powers did the Fire Wolf have?"
Professor Alexander smiled. "According to legend, the Fire Wolf had the ability to control fire. It could summon flames from thin air and breathe fire like a dragon."
Tray, a student sitting in the back of the room, spoke up. "That's so cool! What about the Hell Wolf? What was it like?"
Professor Alexander's expression turned serious. "The Hell Wolf was a fearsome creature, said to roam the underworld. It had razor-sharp claws and teeth, and was feared by even the bravest warriors."
Kael, sitting next to Lyra, whispered, "I bet I could take down a Hell Wolf."
Lyra rolled her eyes. "You're not even supposed to know about the Hell Wolf, Kael. It's not exactly common knowledge."
Kael shrugged. "I have my ways."
As Professor Alexander continued his lecture, Tray raised his hand again. "Professor Alexander, is it possible to have a creature that's half wolf, half dragon?"
Professor Alexander's expression turned uneasy, and he frowned. "I'm afraid that's a question I'm not at liberty to answer, Tray."
The class fell silent, with all eyes fixed on Professor Alexander. What did he mean? Was there something he wasn't telling them?
After the history class, Lyra approached Kael, who was leaning against a nearby wall, looking brooding as usual. "Hey, Kael," Lyra said, "I had the weirdest dream last night."
Kael raised an eyebrow. "What happened in this dream?"
Lyra's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I saw this creature with red eyes and a huge body. It was standing on two feet, and it had these massive wings on its back."
Kael's expression turned guarded, and he looked away. "It was just a dream, Lyra."
But Lyra wasn't convinced. There was something about the creature that seemed so real. She was about to press Kael for more information when the principal walked into the room.
"Good morning, class," the principal said, his voice booming across the room. "I'd like to take a moment to officially introduce our new student, Tyrese."
As the principal gestured to Tyrese, Lyra's face turned bright red. She couldn't explain why, but she felt a sudden flutter in her chest.
Kael's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on Lyra's flushed face. "What's wrong with you?" he whispered, his voice low and menacing.
Lyra shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. What was wrong with her? Why did she feel this way whenever Tyrese was around?
