Chapter 1 - THROUGH THE DARK

It was the time of the Third World War. The entire world was engulfed in fire and blood. Everywhere, the scene was one of destruction, and people were fleeing for their lives. Among them was an eighteen-year-old boy, Rudra. Soaked in the rain, his body was trembling, and in his eyes, there was only one face—the face of his mother, who was no longer in this world.

A few years ago, Rudra had been sitting at the dining table with his mother, father, and little sister. That day, his mother had prepared his favorite dish. The atmosphere was filled with joy, and Rudra's sister was laughing and joking. But then, suddenly, the peaceful moment was shattered by a loud explosion. Their house fell victim to a bomb blast.

Rudra's entire family was lost in that blast. As he saw his mother's dismembered body, Rudra's heart turned to stone. His eyes were filled with tears, but his throat was choked with the pain of his soul. Rudra, wounded and half-dead, lay on the ground, his body drenched in blood.

Then, strange figures appeared at the scene. Their appearance and power were something Rudra had never encountered before. Terrified, Rudra called out for help, "Save me! Get me out of here!"

But instead of helping, they mocked him. Rudra thought death had finally come for him. However, instead of killing him, they stood around him. One man grabbed his hand and pressed it hard. His face was so cold that it seemed as if nothing mattered to him.

The Nightmare Begins

They knocked Rudra unconscious and took him away. When he regained consciousness, he found himself chained to a chair, his hands and feet bound by iron shackles. His body was cold, but the pain inside was tearing him apart. Just then, a man with a cold, merciless face entered, carrying a pot of hot water.

The man poured the hot water onto Rudra's chest. Rudra screamed in agony, but his scream was swallowed by the walls around him. "Stop screaming, or it will get worse," the man warned. But despite the pain, Rudra continued to scream, unable to endure the burning agony.

Next, they began pulling the nails from his fingers. Rudra screamed and cried, his body writhing in unbearable torment. They poured salt and chili onto his bleeding fingers. Rudra's eyes turned red from the tears, but on their faces was a strange smile, as if they found comfort in his suffering.

Day by day, the torture escalated. One day, they tore a piece of skin from his body. Rudra's body bled profusely, but they did nothing to treat him—only ensuring he didn't die. They treated him not as a human, but as an animal.

One Year of Hell

For a year, Rudra lived in agony. Every night, he would remember the faces of his family and ask himself, "Was I worthy of this pain?" But the answer never came.

One day, a woman from the group approached him, holding a knife. She stopped before him and said, "You don't have to endure all this. If you want, I can free you from this pain right now."

Something inside Rudra changed. His heart was filled with pain, but his eyes held a new light. "No," he replied. "You may kill me and give me freedom, but if you let me live, I will make you all feel this pain."

The woman smiled. "So, you've decided to live. But living won't be easy."

A New Purpose

From that day on, Rudra began to feel a new power within himself. The years of pain had transformed him from a human into something else—an animal driven only by the thirst for revenge.

Rudra's only thought was to seek justice for his family. And for that justice, he would eliminate his tormentors, one by one. But from that night, his story would begin, a story that would follow a path of blood, vengeance, and destruction.

Escape from Hell

Rudra endured the tortures for another year. Every day, his body was broken, but his spirit grew stronger. One day, as he was on the brink of losing hope, he saw a glimmer of opportunity—an opening that could change his life. A guard had left a pin in his uniform pocket. Despite the pain from his wounds, Rudra stealthily took the pin.

He used the pin to unlock his shackles. With each lock that opened, his heart filled with new hope. When the chains fell away, he picked up a knife—his first and final means of protection. Now, like an animal, he moved silently, without fear.

First Kill

As he made his way out, Rudra saw a woman watching him. Her eyes were cold, but Rudra's heart was consumed with only one thing—revenge. He approached her swiftly and plunged the knife into her abdomen. Her face twisted in pain, but Rudra didn't look back for a second. He fled quickly, running for his freedom.

Once outside, Rudra took a deep breath, knowing that this was just the beginning. He promised himself that he would save others like him from this hell, no matter what it took.

A Kindred Soul

Rudra was near a jungle when he heard a child's scream. The sound tore through his heart, but he suppressed his emotions. Following the sound, he found a boy, no older than sixteen, trapped on the edge of a high cliff. His tormentors were standing before him, and below, there was a deep ravine.

The boy had given up all hope. His eyes were filled with fear and defeat. Just then, Rudra appeared like a shadow. Without hesitation, he attacked the tormentors. With every strike of his knife, he eliminated them one by one.

The boy watched, wide-eyed. He saw no fear, no pain in Rudra's face—only a cold, empty gaze, as if Rudra were a messenger of death. When it was over, Rudra extended his hand to the boy.

"Do you want to live?" Rudra asked.

The boy, still speechless, nodded.

"Emotions must die," Rudra said, his voice as cold as stone. "Make pain your weapon. Compassion, fear, and love have no meaning anymore."

The boy understood that to survive, he would have to follow Rudra's path. He took Rudra's hand, and that night, they embarked on a new journey together.

A Brutal Bond

Rudra taught the boy how to survive—how to live for revenge and nothing else. He taught him how to numb the pain, how to instill fear in his enemies. Every day, the boy fought alongside Rudra, becoming stronger and more merciless.

One day, the boy asked, "What's your name?"

"Rudra," he answered coldly.

"Why are you doing all this?"

Rudra paused, then said, "Because surviving and seeking justice is now my only purpose. And you must learn the same."

The First Test

One night, Rudra sent the boy on a test. A group of people who hunted children were in the jungle. Rudra told the boy, "Kill them. If your hand trembles, you'll die."

The boy, who had been with Rudra all this time, hesitated for a moment. But he remembered Rudra's words—emotions must die. He picked up a knife and attacked the group. Fear filled his eyes, but his hands were steady with resolve. One by one, he eliminated them. When he returned, Rudra simply said, "You're now worthy of living."

The Beginning of a Revolution

Rudra and the boy began a new chapter in their lives. They had one mission—to avenge the childhood stolen from them. Every night, they rescued children like themselves, but their journey was not easy. Every day, they faced new challenges.

Rudra's emotions had died long ago, but he had sparked a new hope. A hope that one day, he would end the empire that destroyed childhoods. And this story is now one of vengeance and justice, written by Rudra's hands.
