The Discovery and Betrayal
Rudra and Siddarth sat in a dimly lit room, the faint glow of Rudra's laptop reflecting their tense expressions. The mysterious pendrive they had found was now their focus, and each file they opened felt like uncovering a new layer of secrets.
Their breaths hitched when they found a series of photographs. Rudra's parents appeared in several, standing alongside a group of scientists in white coats. The backdrop hinted at a high-tech research facility, sterile and imposing.
Then came the video file. With a trembling hand, Rudra clicked play. A man appeared on the screen, introducing himself with calm authority.
"I am Surand, the lead scientist of this facility. Our work here is revolutionary. We are researching ways to extend human lifespan, enhance healing, and boost intelligence—all without side effects. We call this initiative Project Null. We're on the brink of…"
The video abruptly cut to static. Rudra let out a frustrated groan, his fist slamming onto the table. Before he could say more, the laptop displayed an image—a flag with blue, red, and white stripes, adorned with stars. The American flag.
Rudra's face contorted with fury. He stood abruptly, grabbing the laptop. "I won't let them get away with this!" he shouted, hurling it across the room.
Siddarth jumped up in shock. "Have you lost your mind? That laptop had all the evidence!"
Before either could react further, the laptop exploded, the deafening sound throwing them off their feet. Smoke filled the room, and as it cleared, shadows emerged—American soldiers, their weapons aimed squarely at Rudra and Siddarth.
"Hands on your heads! Down on the ground!" barked one of the soldiers, his voice cold and commanding.
The Fight for Survival
Rudra's eyes darted around the room, his mind racing. In one swift motion, he grabbed an iron rod from the floor and lunged at the nearest soldier, locking him in a chokehold.
"Don't shoot!" Rudra shouted, using the soldier as a shield. But the others didn't hesitate. Gunfire rang out, and the soldier in Rudra's grasp went limp.
Siddarth seized the moment, snatching a smoke grenade from another soldier's belt. He pulled the pin and threw it into the middle of the attackers. Thick smoke filled the room, masking their movements.
Through the chaos, Siddarth tackled another soldier, pinning him to the ground. In a desperate act, he shoved a grenade into the soldier's vest and pushed him toward his comrades. The explosion rocked the room, sending debris and screams into the air.
The remaining soldiers, panicked, fired blindly, their bullets hitting walls—and sometimes each other.
The Inferno
Amid the confusion, Rudra noticed a pool of petrol spreading across the floor. A fuel canister lay toppled nearby, its contents leaking freely. Rudra's lips curled into a dark smirk.
"Let's end this," he muttered, pulling a lighter from his pocket.
With a flick, the tiny flame came to life. He tossed it into the petrol, and within moments, the room was an inferno. Flames roared, consuming everything in their path.
The soldiers screamed as fire engulfed them. Siddarth, coughing and stumbling back, grabbed Rudra's arm. "We have to get out of here! This is madness!"
But Rudra stood firm, his face lit by the raging fire. "They took my parents. My life. Now they'll pay."
The Aftermath
When the fire finally subsided, the room was a smoldering ruin. Rudra and Siddarth, covered in soot and blood, staggered out into the cold night air.
Siddarth looked at Rudra, his voice shaking. "This isn't over. If America is behind this, they'll come for us again."
Rudra's jaw tightened, his eyes burning with determination. "Let them come. I'll tear them apart if I have to."
As they walked away, a satellite high above captured their every move. In a distant control room, an American general watched the footage, his expression grim.
"Deploy the Specter Unit," he ordered. "We can't let them live."
Rudra and Siddarth were now fugitives, hunted by forces beyond their comprehension. Yet, their resolve was unshaken.
"I'll uncover the truth behind Project Null," Rudra vowed, his voice steady despite the fire in his heart. "Even if it kills me."
