After the oversea gone, keiran decide to investigate the clock tower and meet the mysterious sender. Kerien arrive at the tower at midnight, eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of movement.
Suddenly, a figure emerges from the darkness. It's a woman with piercing green eyes and long, curly brown hair. She's dressed in a black leather jacket and carries herself with confidence and poise.
"Who are you?" Keiran ask, your hand instinctively going to your gun.
"My name is Ada," she replies, her voice low and husky. "I'm a former employee of The Syndicate. I helped design Erebus's architecture, but I never intended for it to be used for nefarious purposes."
Ada hands kerien a small device that looks like a custom-built smartphone. "This is a backdoor into Erebus's system," she explains. "With this, you should be able to shut it down remotely."
Keiran take the device, feeling a surge of hope. "Why are you helping me?" Keiran ask Ada.
"Because I want to make things right," she replies, her eyes flashing with determination. "I want to help you stop Erebus and bring down The Syndicate once and for all."
Keiran study Ada's face, trying to read her intentions. She seems genuine, but keiran can't shake the feeling that there's more to her story than she's letting on.
"Okay," keiran say finally, tucking the device into your pocket. "I'll use this to shut down Erebus. But I need to know more about The Syndicate and their plans. Can you help me with that?"
Ada nods, a small smile playing on her lips. "I can do more than that," she says. "I can take you to the heart of The Syndicate's operation. Are you ready to take the fight to them?"
