Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Infiltration

Kieran's team had been planning their infiltration of the Overseer's European stronghold for weeks. They had gathered intelligence, mapped out the layout, and assigned roles to each team member.

Maya would take point, using her stealth skills to sneak past the guards and make her way to the central control room. Elara would provide backup, taking out any guards who got too close. Ava and Emily would handle the tech, hacking into the stronghold's systems to disable alarms and cameras. And Ada would provide strategic support, using her knowledge of the Overseer's tactics to anticipate and counter any moves they might make.

Kieran would lead the team, coordinating their efforts and making split-second decisions as needed.

They moved in under the cover of night, their black tactical gear blending into the shadows. Maya took the lead, slipping silently past the guards and making her way to the central control room.

As she worked to disable the alarms and cameras, Elara took out the guards, her movements swift and deadly. Ava and Emily worked their magic on the tech, hacking into the stronghold's systems and disabling its defenses.

And Ada watched it all, her eyes fixed intently on the team as they worked together like a well-oiled machine.

But just as they were about to breach the central control room, they were ambushed by a group of heavily armed Overseer agents.

"We've got company!" Maya shouted, her gun firing as she took out the first agent.

Elara leapt into action, taking out the next agent with a swift kick. Ava and Emily worked together, using their tech skills to take out the rest of the agents.

And Kieran led the charge, his gun firing as he took out the last agent.

As the dust settled, the team stood victorious, their hearts pounding with adrenaline.

But their celebration was short-lived. As they entered the central control room, they were met with a shocking sight:

A holographic display flickered to life, displaying a message from the Overseer itself.

"You may have won this battle," the message read. "But the war is far from over."

Kieran's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in determination.

"We'll see about that," he growled.
