When Winter arrived home, Seren was already awake, and the moment she spotted her mother entering the house, she dashed towards her.
"Mommy, why did you let Nana go? I wasn't able to meet her at all." Seren expressed her disappointment after learning that her Nana had visited, but due to work commitments, she couldn't stay longer and had to leave.
Winter sighed and bent forward to lift Seren into her arms.
"I am sorry for that but she did mentioned to stop by once her work ends," Winter reassured, observing the excitement radiating from Seren's face.
"Is Nana staying with us?" she exclaimed joyfully.
"No, not with us, but she will be around for a while now," Winter said, managing to preserve some of the happiness for her.
Apart from her mother, the strongest bond she shared was with Gina, her godmother, and learning that she was nearby, Seren couldn't wait to spend time with her.
