Chapter 3 - Training with Hayate

The Next morning.

"Wahh. Can't the training wait? This is too early."

Shiro said as he got up while still feeling very sleepy.

"Are you kidding? Even if your body is more talented than the other kids that does not mean you are qualified enough to become a ninja."

"I have to train you thoroughly if I don't want to see you die on the battlefield."

"So which exactly are we going?"

"We are going to a quiet place to help you meditate."

"Meditate? What for?"

"If I want to teach you a ninjutsu, first you primarily need to use two energies that combine to create something called Chakra."

"Chakra?"

Shiro asked if he had learned how to create a small fire spark using a fireball jutsu from Nono who runs the orphanage.

But he does not know things about Chakra, and hand seals other than the seal that he needs to create a fire ball jutsu.

"It's the combination of two primal energies. Physical energy and mental energy. You can increase your physical energy by training your body and exercising. While mental energy can be only increased through studying and meditating."

"So you are going to help me train mental energy? Why didn't you start with the physical energy first?"

Shiro questioned him.

"I think it would be fine if we started with mental training first. I also have to train another person some swordsmanship today and I don't want to push myself too much."

He responded.

"Swordsmanship? Are you a swordsman?"

He nodded.

"And I am going to teach you how to use a sword properly in the future. But now it's important to build up your fundamentals first."

He said as he rubbed Shiro's fluffy white hair.

"Hey stop that."

Shiro retorted by trying to push away Hayate but his body was too small and too weak.

"Haha."

*****

Hayate took Shiro to a place called The Third Training Ground.

"This is the place where the third Hokage trained the three legendary Sannins."

"Really?"

"You take me here because you thought that I would be able to become as great as them?"

Shiro asked.

"Ha. You wish."

Hayate smiled.

"See that huge timber," Hayate asked.

"Which one? There are three of them." Shiro replied.

"Just choose one. And try to meditate near the timber of your choosing."

"I will take the middle one."

Shiro then walked towards the timber.

"Now sit." Hayate forced Shiro to sit down in the full lotus position.

"Now close both of your eyes."

Shiro followed Hayate's instructions.

When he closed his eyes everything around him was pitch black.

The only thing that he can feel is the two powerful energy fusing inside his body.

He is doing well in his first time. Hayate thought as he looked at Shiro who was meditating.

A small white aura can be sensed around Shiro's body.

His Chakra signature is kind of strange. It's not warm or cold. It feels like normal Chakra but without any kind of emotions mixed into it. Hayate thought as he looked at the boy.

"This is not a run-of-the-mill kid. There might be something special hidden inside him." Hayate said.

But as he was just saying those words Shiro's tail popped up out of nowhere.

"Huh."

He also gained some blue glowing neon-colour whiskers on his face and around his nails that started to resemble the claw of a beast.

His tail also gained a blue neon colour.

He does not seem to have noticed it but Hayate was a little surprised.

"A hidden technique. No, this seems more like a bloodline technique."

*****

A few minutes passed and Shiro reopened his eyes.

"You know you should have told me that you have a Kekki Genkai."

"Huh."

Shiro looked at his body.

And he was surprised when he saw that his tail was out in the open.

Not only that he is also in some kind of enhanced mode.

"Looking at your expressions this might be your first time seeing too right?"

Shiro nodded.

Looking at the two-year-old's expression Hayate immediately believed him.

After all, he saw the kid grow up from an infant to a small boy.

Even if he was not particularly paying attention the existence of a white hair red eyes kid is hard not to notice.

Foxes are known to be good liars but Hayate's assumption of Shiro was right at the time as he was still a small child that was introduced to human society.

"I still have a few hours left before I have to go," Hayate said as he looked at the Sun.

"So why don't we test this new power of yours? You do you say Kid." He said.

Shiro nodded.

*****

It increases strength, speed and durability. I don't know by how much but it seems to be less than two times. Hayate thought as he observed Shiro who was moving around using his new power.

But why is he on all fours though? Does he need to be in that position to use his power? He questioned in his mind.

And the claws, they seem to be very sharp. But not sharp enough to kill someone. That's good, I don't have to worry about that. Hayate has a slight relief.

He was not worried about the village people. But he was worried about the small little boy who would make an enemy out of the people from the village if he did something wrong.

And he knows that he would be one of the first to draw his blade if the boy ever turned his back on the village.

He felt pity for the parentless child but he had seen what a parentless child could do when he becomes corrupted by the world.

He saw an image of a former hero who became an irredeemable monster on Shiro's face.

He shakes his head to throw out the useless thoughts away.

Why am I even comparing this child with the most evil person that I have ever seen?
