The next day.
Shiro walked into the classroom and noticed that everyone was now being more chatty than they usually were.
"What Uchiha clan is destroyed? Who did it?"
When he heard those words his eyes immediately went towards Sasuke's seat.
A person who is usually present a few hours before the class starts was absent.
"Oh. Sasuke is absent today? I thought that was going to be the case." The instructor said as he walked into the classroom.
"Teacher. What happened to Sasuke-kun?"
A pink hairgirl asked as she raised her hand.
"I heard that he survived the incident but it would probably take a while until he comes back to school." The instructor said.
Shiro was a little worried about Sasuke as he was the only one who got along with him.
However, he was not able to show his emotions as he thought that it was the same as revealing his weakness to others.
"Today. We will be going over the hand seals for the transformation technique. Try to follow my lectures more carefully since this is an important class." The instructor said to the class.
"Transformation jutsu?" Shiro said in interest.
"Why is he even bother trying? He is going to get replaced by the younger Chunin sooner or later?" One of the students bad-mouthed the teacher.
The instructor seems to have heard those words.
"Hey..." He prepared to confront the student.
But he stopped when he saw the third Hokage standing near the entrance to the classroom with another shinobi in a green flask jacket that had a scar on his face.
"Sensei. Can I get some of your time? We need to discuss the incident that happened yesterday." The Third Hokage who looked like a frail old man said to the instructor.
"Yes. Of course, lord thrid." The instructor said as he left the classroom.
"Kids. You can go back home for today. Class is dismissed because of an important meeting." the third Hokage announced before departing with their instructor.
The classroom started to become noisy as the person who was controlling was now gone.
A blonde girl with blue eyes walked towards the place where Shiro was sitting.
"You," she called out to him, by slamming his desk.
Shiro frowned.
"You are close to Sasuke. So you should know what is happening to him right now." She asked him about Sasuke's condition with a very harsh tone.
"If you want to know about what is happening to him why don't you go and ask him yourself? The teacher said that he was alive didn't he." Shiro resorted.
"There he goes again."
"Always acting like an asshole."
Although the Blonde girl was in the wrong as she was the one who started speaking rudely to Shiro she was popular so the class immediately took her side and bad-mouthed Shiro.
Shiro who doesn't want to waste time with anyone from his classroom got up and prepared to leave.
"Hey. Don't your parents teach you any manners?" She started to insult Shiro when she realized that things were not going her way.
What an annoying girl! Shiro thought in his mind as he looked at the girl.
He tried to walk past her but she blocked his path with her body.
"Move," Shiro said as his red eyes turned pink for a second.
The girl kneels while looking expressionless.
Shiro walked past her.
"Huh? What happened?" She said as she didn't realise what just happened right now, and why she was kneeling.
She immediately got up and looked behind her to check if Shiro was still there but he was already gone.
"Did he just use my clan's hidden technique?" She questioned.
"Maybe he is an unknown member of your clan," Shikamaru said as he appeared behind the blonde-haired girl.

"I think I might be too hard on this new power. It is at least convenient for a situation like this." Shiro said as he walked out of the school.
The power that he just used was the possession technique that allowed him to possess the body of someone weaker than him for two seconds.
I leave the class since I don't want to be around her. But where should I go now? Shiro thought in his mind.
He put his hand in his pockets to see if he had any money to eat some ramen.
But it was fruitless as he only had a ten yen coin.
"Ha." He sighed and decided that walking back home was the only option that he had.
On his way back he saw Sasuke who seemed like he was also walking home.
He didn't know if the future could have been different if he just tried to reach out to him by neglecting his useless pride.
But he didn't as the two walked past each other.
"His eyes. They seem almost lifeless." Shiro said as he turned back for a short moment to look at Sasuke.
"I am sure he will be able to pull himself up again," Shiro said as he walked back home.
When he opened the door to his apartment
He noticed that someone had been there a while ago as he saw a strawberry cake and a note in the living room.
The cake was not very large but it is still a bit much for only one person.
He picked up the note.
I am sorry. There is an important meeting today so I am unable to give this to you personally. So I asked Yugao to drop it at your place. Happy Birthday. From Hayate.
Shiro smiled as he folded the note in a triangular shape and put it in his pocket so that he could place it in a secure place later.
He then also saw a small envelope.
"From Yugao. Happy birthday."
It was an envelope that had a 1000 yen. It's not much but he was still very happy to get some extra money.
Shiro despite himself shutting off from the world in the fear of being exploited knows that he is at least loved and cared for.
Not knowing that it is going to end sooner or later.
