"Selena, you're the only one who can help me," Reza said with a voice full of hope. His eyes revealed an anxiety that he couldn't hide.
Selena looked at Reza with furrowed brows. "What do you mean, Reza? This all feels so sudden."
Reza took a deep breath and continued, "I received information that some important company documents have gone missing. It could cause major issues if they fall into the wrong hands. And I'm sure that with your ability, you can find something that others might have missed."
Selena felt her heart beat faster. She knew Reza trusted her, but a request like this felt heavy. Especially since her HSAM ability had become harder to control.
"Reza, I'll try, but I can't promise anything," Selena replied slowly. She knew that if she took on this request, there would be many risks to face.
Reza smiled faintly. "That's more than enough. Thank you, Selena."
They both fell silent for a moment. Selena tried to collect her thoughts, but suddenly, strange images began to flash in her mind. It felt as if she were watching snippets of events from the past, happening at a speed she couldn't control.
"Selena, are you okay?" Reza asked, noticing her pale face.
Selena nodded slowly. "I... I just need a moment."
After their conversation ended, Selena returned to her desk. She tried to calm her mind, but the images kept haunting her. Once again, her HSAM ability surfaced uncontrollably, showing her minute details of events she should have forgotten.
While trying to calm herself, a well-dressed young man approached her. In his hands was a fresh bouquet of white roses.
"This is for you, Selena," the man said as he handed her the flowers.
Selena was taken aback but tried to stay composed. "From who?"
The man smiled warmly. "I was just asked to deliver it. The sender wishes to remain anonymous."
Selena hesitantly took the bouquet. There was something odd about this situation, but she didn't want to draw attention. After the man left, she examined the flowers closely. Among the white petals, there was a small card tucked inside.
She opened the card and read the short message written within:
"Thank you for your hard work. You are stronger than you think."
Selena felt a shiver down her spine. The message was simple, but for some reason, it felt very personal. Who was the sender of these flowers? And why did it feel like there was something more behind all of this?
