"Like I said, you've been out for three days. I was working on a decree to counter the dukes. People are leaving in droves because of the supply halt. It's just us, some shop owners and some people who can't afford to leave." I inhaled her scent deeply as I continued. "They were going to declare war on us. "What about your father..." She tilted her head slightly to look at me.

"The clothing I ordered you is on my desk." I rested my hand on her cheek as she nuzzled into it.
"Go bathe and change. I'll go grab us some breakfast." I grabbed her face, pulling her towards mine as I planted a sloppy kiss on her. She returned it with an equally sloppy kiss. Our teeth clanked together, causing her to pull back in a giggle. She hopped off of me, headed to my desk, and grabbed the package while she headed to the bathroom.
I pushed myself off the floor, rubbing my temple where she clocked me. I'm glad I had Azazel. If I was a normal person, I'd be brain-dead by now. Azazel heartily laughed at my comment. I headed downstairs with a smile as I passed a couple of maids doing chores.
I headed towards the kitchen, halting in my steps as a tan, buff dude stood in the foyer with a petite woman in silver armor. Her long white hair flowed to her lower back. Her pointed ears resembled Lilith's but lacked fluff. My smile dropped as her scent hit my nose. The two slowly turned towards me, sending rage to fill my body.
