Just as Liu Feng's instincts, the village was strange and Yang Chen took it up to himself to figure it out. Yang Chen Yi Is seen sitting, drinking and chatting with an older fellow inside the bar
"Why would you come here of all places", the geezer said to Yang Chen
"I was just passing by and decided to spend the night here", looking more interested in the conversation. "Anything wrong with that".
"If you were in another town I would say no but you are in Ba shen" the geezer took a good drink out of his cup. "Ba shen is not for visiting, have you ever heard of a visit to Ba shen" he let out a drunken laugh.
"Why do you say so?", Yang Chen said as he took a drink.
"It would be best if you leave before the night comes.for Ba shen always has a bad night",said the geezer.
"Wh..", before he could finish his word he found the geezer sleeping,he stood up and left the bar.
On reaching the inn, he spotted Liu Feng on the floor with a few men around him,just then Liu Feng saw him coming. "Took you long enough, I told you something was wrong with this place, "Liu Feng said.
"What's going on?"he asked, confused. Then spoke to the men "has my grandson caused you any trouble?".
"Who do we have here? Seems like granddad", said one of the bandits and they all laughed.
The other bandit walked up to Yang Chen Yi and began to speak, "You and your grandson came into our town without our consultation, don't you know that there are rules to this town,do you both think you're above them".
"My apologies young man, we had no idea", Yang Chen Yi said, already aware of what's happening in the town. It seems like the town is under the tyranny of the bandits.
"Well you should know what happens to defaulters", the bandits said at the top of his voice. charging at Yang Chen Yi with a wild swing.
Yang Chen Yi dodged easily, his movements swift and agile. He countered with a swift kick aiming for Wang's(head of the bandits) stomach. Wang blocked the kick with his sword, but Yang Chen Yi was relentless.
He unleashed a flurry of punches and kicks, each one aimed at Wang's vulnerable points. Wang stumbled backward, his sword flailing wildly as he tried to defend himself
The other bandits joined the fight, but Yang Chen Yi was more than a match for them. He fought with a calm, focused intensity, his movements economical and precise.
One by one, the bandits fell to the ground, defeated. Wang the Bandit was the last one standing, his sword trembling with rage and fear
"You're a devil," he spat, his eyes wide with terror. "I've never seen anyone fight like that.
"Yang Chen Yi smiled calmly, his chest heaving with exertion. "I'm just a man who knows how to defend himself," he said, his voice low and even.
With a swift and deadly motion, Yang Chen Yi struck Wang to the ground, ending the fight once and for all.
As the dust settled, Yang Chen Yi stood tall, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a mixture of caution and curiosity. There he caught sight of a hawk leaving the scene
As Yang Chen Yi looked at the hawk he knew what it was but Liu Feng didn't care to look at the bird or feel suspicious for any reason, he was still reminiscing on the amazing skills of Yang Chen Yi and his expertise in this fighting skill.
"Get up, we leave immediately", Yang Chen said.
'why?,what's the reason?'
"No more questions, we are leaving now", Yang Chen Yi said anxiously.
Liu Feng got up to his feet immediately and followed Yang Chen Yi who was already leaving the scene in a hast.
"You do know you are acting strange", Liu Feng said while following Yang Chen.
I'm not
"Yes you are,and you are gonna speak up sooner or later", Liu Feng said.
Shut up and walk faster.
It was already dawn when they made it out of the town, Yang Chen Yi's anxiousness had already calmed by the time they left the village. They were both walking through the forest when Liu Feng stopped because he was tired.
"We should take a rest", Yang Chen Yi said after seeing how tired Liu Feng was feeling.
"I thought you would never say so", Liu Feng said happily
Yang Chen left and came back a few minutes later with a rabbit which he roasted and made breakfast with.
"I've been meaning to ask you something", Liu Feng started.
"What is it'
"Could you teach me how to fight like you do?", Liu Feng asked.
"Martial arts?"Yang Chen asked and Liu Feng nodded, "Hell no, why would I do that?".
'Because I willing to learn'"Willing to learn and Learning are two different things", Yang Chen said.

"The path you're choosing is not an easy one. Are you prepared to face the challenges ahead?
'Yes'
'That's a mere Yes'
Liu Feng's face fell, and he looked at Yang Chen Yi with disappointment. "But why not?" he asked, his voice tinged with frustration. "I'm willing to learn, and I promise I'll work hard.
Yang Chen Yi sighed, "I don't think you have potential, Liu Feng," he said. "The path of martial arts is not an easy one. It's fraught with danger, and it requires a level of dedication and discipline that not many people possess, Including you.
"Liu Feng's face set in disappointment. "I'm willing to take that risk," he said. "I want to learn and I'm willing to do whatever it takes.
"Yang Chen Yi shook his head, his expression unyielding. "I'm afraid my answer is still no, Liu Feng," he said. "I won't teach you the ways of martial arts. For you lack in many ways.
Liu Feng's face fell, and he looked away, his eyes stinging with disappointment.
On many occasions Liu Feng tried to persuade Yang Chen Yi to teach him martial art but Yang Chen Yi still said no, he even tried fighting him but it ended pretty badly for Liu Feng,so he gave up for the moment.
It has been 10 days since they left Dao sho and a few days since they left the village where they fought the bandits, Liu Feng was growing tired of the journey and had started protesting.
"How long till we get to this island,it has been days and we still haven't made it to the so-called Island of yours", Liu Feng said angrily.
"Quiet kid", Yang Chen said and kept moving
As Liu Feng was still complaining about their journey and its hassle, Yang Chen Yi heard a sound and gestured for him to shut up and stop moving.
"I said keep quiet", he said while looking around.
"What is it now, old man?"Liu Feng said and took a few steps before he was dragged up by his leg by a trap set on the floor.
Yang Chen Yi didn't waste any time,he jumped and cut off the rope Liu Feng was dragged with and Carried him down before he tossed him on the floor to scan his surroundings again.
Just then he dodged an arrow that was aimed for his head, the arrow hit the tree near him and then three figures dressed in black came rushing towards them.
