Chapter 5 - Jade Yu island

Yang Chen Yi and Liu Feng arrived at Jade Yu Island, where the lush greenery and vibrant flowers stood in stark contrast to the darkness they had previously encountered.

As they stepped onto the island's shores, a procession of island residents emerged, dressed in traditional attire and beaming with joy and reverence. The air was filled with the sweet aroma of incense and the soft chanting of ancient hymns.

The island's inhabitants, both young and old, gathered around, their eyes filled with admiration and respect. As Yang Chen Yi passed, they bowed deeply, their foreheads touching the ground in reverence. Liu Feng's eyes widened with confusion as he watched the scene unfold.

"What is happening?" he whispered to Yang ChenYi, but Yang Chen Simply smiled and nodded in acknowledgment. The procession led them to a grand banquet hall, where a lavish feast was prepared for them.

The hall was lined with long tables adorned with fine silks and valuable ceramics. The island's inhabitants took their seats, their expressions filled with anticipation. At the head of the table, a majestic throne-like chair stood empty, waiting for Yang Chen Yi to arrive.

As he took his seat, the hall erupted in applause, and the island's residents cheered together. "Welcome, Master Yang!" they chanted, their voices echoing against the hall's high ceilings. "We have waited for your return for far too long!

" Liu Feng's confusion grew as he watched the scene unfold. He had never seen anyone treated with such reverence and admiration before. Who Was Yang Chen? really? And why were these people treating him like a god?

As the feast began, Yang Chen Yi raised his hands, and the entire hall fell silent. "My dear friends and followers," he exclaimed, his voice echoing throughout the hall. "Thank you for the warm welcome. I am honored to be with you again.

" The island's inhabitants applauded again, and the feast lasted late into the night. Liu Feng, on the other hand, remained silent, his gaze fixed on Yang Chen Yi as he attempted to solve the mystery surrounding this enigmatic figure.

As the night progressed, Liu Feng came to realize that Yang Chen Yi was more than just a skilled warrior and wise mentor. Liu Feng couldn't help but wonder what secrets were hidden beneath Yang.

Liu Feng looked around the room, his mind racing with confusion. He did not understand what was going on. Why were they treating Yang Chen Yi as if he were a god? Yang Chen Yi struck him as a mysterious figure who appeared to be hiding secrets.

Yang Chen Yi appeared to sense Liu Feng's confusion and nodded to one of his followers, a tall, imposing figure with a friendly demeanor. "Elder Wong, please introduce Liu Feng to the community.

Elder Wong bowed and moved forward. "Liu Feng, this is our community." We are a family, united by our respect and admiration for Master Yang,

" As Elder Wong spoke, Liu Feng's gaze swept the room, taking in the expressions of Yang Chen Yi's followers.

He saw young students, eager and enthusiastic, as well as older, wiser elders, who appeared to radiate calm and authority.

Yang Chen Yi began introducing Liu Feng to his followers, starting with the elders. Liu Feng shook hands and exchanged pleasantries, but his mind was still skeptical.

He couldn't understand why these people regarded Yang Chen Yi with such respect. As the introductions progressed, Liu Feng's frustration increased. He regarded Yang Chen Yi as a flawed and imperfect human being, not a god. His frustration finally reached a boiling point.

"I don't understand," Liu Feng said, his voice loud and clear. Why are you all treating him like a god? "He's only a man, after all." The room fell silent, and all eyes turned to Liu Feng. Yang Chen Yi's expression remained calm,

but Liu Feng saw a flicker of disappointment in his eyes. Jietang, a young student from grade 2, stepped forward, his eyes filled with rage.

"How dare you!" he said, his voice trembling with rage. "Master Yang is our leader and guardian. He has kept us safe and taught us everything we know. Jietang charged at Liu Feng without warning, his foot landing on his stomach.

Liu Feng doubled over, gasping for air, and before Jietang could move again, Yang Chen Yi intervened, his voice firm but calm.

"Enough, Jietang." That is enough. Jietang paused, his chest heaving from exertion. Jietang was a teenager around Liu Feng's age, with red hair, a lean and agile figure, deep black eyes, and a sword in his hand, as Yang Chen Yi assisted Liu Feng to his feet.

Are you okay?. Yang Chen Yi asked.

Liu Feng nodded, still gasping for air. "I'm fine," he replied, his gaze fixed on Jie Tang. "But I don't understand why you're so defensive. "What is going on here?" Yang Chen Yi maintained a calm expression, but Liu Feng noticed a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"There is much you do not understand, Liu Feng," he said. "But I assure you that everything will be revealed in time.

Liu Feng nodded, still attempting to comprehend what had happened that night. Although he had no idea what was happening, he was aware that he needed to exercise caution. One should not undervalue Yang Chen Yi and his supporters.

Yang Chen Yi's gaze wandered around the room, lingering on his followers' faces. He said, "I call upon the elders of the island to gather at the conference hall," in a firm and commanding voice.

As the elders approached the conference hall, the room began to empty. Yang Chen Yi looked at Liu Feng, his expression serious.

"Come, Liu Feng." "We have a lot to talk about." Liu Feng followed Yang Chen Yi into the conference hall,

his mind racing with questions. What was happening? Why did Yang Chen Yi bring him to this island? When they arrived at the conference hall, Liu Feng noticed that it was filled with the island's elders. They sat around a large, omate table, their expressions grave and concerned.

Yang Chen Yi took his seat at the head of the table, his gaze scanning the room. "I want to thank everyone for coming here tonight," he began. "If you're in this room, you probably know or have an idea who Liu Feng is

." The elders nodded, their gaze focused on Liu Feng. Yang Chen Yi continued, his tone measured and calm. "We have gathered here tonight to discuss how to address the issue at hand. Liu Feng's presence here is not coincidental.

He was brought here for a reason, and it affects all of us."The elders leaned forwards, their expressions intent and focused. Yang Chen Yi's eyes were fixed on Liu Feng, his expression serious.

"Liu Feng, you are at the center of a storm that threatens to destroy everything we care about. We must discuss how to protect you and keep you safe from those who wish to harm you." Liu Feng's eyes widened as he heard Yang Chen Yi's words.

What storm? What danger? He had a lot of questions, but Yang Chen Yi continued before he could ask them. We have a lot to talk about and little time to waste. "Let us begin."

The elders nodded, and the meeting started. Liu Feng listened as his mind raced with questions and fears. What exactly did Yang Chen Yi mean? What danger was he in? And how did it all relate to him?
