Kazuo: So this is the famous Okanoshima Academy huh? It's the place I'll be spending the next 3 years. *Sighs*
Kazuo makes his way to the main hall of the school
Kazuo: There's a lot more people here than I thought, there might be around 100 students.
The principal makes his way to the stage and starts talking
Principal: Good morning students. I am your principal Mr Haygashi. Welcome to the Okanoshima Academy. Here you will spend the next 3 years practicing your sword and magic skills, as well as your academics. Now then, please make your way to the field on the right. There we will assign you to your respective classes. After that your homeroom teacher will explain how the school works. Now then make your way to the field. Thank you.
Kazuo: Haygashi the school principal. He looks to be in his late 30s and uses lightning magic. Since he is the principal, he should be the strongest mage in the school.
The principal gets off the stage and all the students make their way to the field.
Instructor: Listen up everyone! I am your instructor and I'm here to assign you to a class. I will call you up and then you should come and place your hand on this sensor *points to the sensor *. After that I will assign you to one of these teachers standing here *points to the teachers, now if everyone understands we will begin. Once your name is called please step up.
The instructor calls up the students one by one
Instructor: Kurunami Tomoro, class D
Iroase Utsu, class C
Kazuo: Seems like each class will have about 20 students, now what class am I in?
Instructor: Kazuo Natski, class C
Kazuo: Class C huh, better than the bottom I guess.
Instructor: Now that everyone has a class, follow your homeroom teacher to your class.
All the students follow their teacher to their respective classes.
Miss Aikawa: Good morning students. I am your homeroom teacher, the teacher of class 1-C. Miss Aikawa.
Kazuo: Miss Aikawa, I've heard of her before. She is a healer that uses water magic, but she is also decent with a sword.
Miss Aikawa: I will be teaching you how to use your sword and magic more effectively as well as teach you your academic subjects. With that being said, you won't be changing teachers, I will teach you all subjects. Only when we practice in combat will you be joining the other classes.
Kazuo: One teacher and a total of 8 subjects.This school system works differently and we will be training with the other classes as well.
Miss Aikawa: Now the rules of the school are very simple.
Number one , you are not allowed to leave the school during the week. Only at the end of the school week will you be allowed to leave the school. As you know there are dorms on the other side of the school. There will be a lot of facilities around the school that you can use.There's entertainment,food and convenient stores available. Secondly you will also be given 10000 credit to start off and you will be given 1000 every month, this will only be used on school grounds . Lastly you are forbidden to use magic on school grounds unless stated otherwise. That is all for today, tomorrow you may ask questions and school will officially start. You are dismissed.
Kazuo : So we can't leave the school premises during a school week, the school is surprisingly big to have enough space to support 300 students as well as pay for food and entertainment. Secondly we get an allowance each month and we can purchase anything using these phones they have given us. Judging by that, if we break a rule or fail a term our allowance will decrease, so by that logic there is a possibility of earning more. Lastly is that we are not able to use magic on school grounds unless we are training or have permission. There is probably more to it than just those 3 rules, guess I'll just figure it out as we go.
All the students leave the class and go their separate ways.
Kazuo: So what should I do now? I guess I should go to my dorm room, I still haven't put my stuff away *sighs*. I've heard that I will have a roommate, I wonder if he's in my class.
