The Children of Gaia seek peace and enlightenment, though they recognize what they are and don't shy away from war against the Wyrm. The other tribes consider them weak, even cowardly. Some of them enjoy a blasphemous little laugh at the expense of their Patron Spirit. Scarper called their Patron Spirit Karkadann, and said that the wolves of the ancient Middle East spoke to her millennia ago to find peace within themselves. He respected the Children of Gaia, since they knew how to survive, just like him. After all, the other tribes laugh, but the other tribes get themselves killed a lot for stupid reasons, so even from a practical point of view, the Children of Gaia must be doing something right.
