As I walked out of the library with Sophia, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. We had talked for a few minutes, and I had discovered that we shared a love of literature.
"I'm so glad I met you," Sophia said, smiling at me. "I don't usually meet people who share my interests."
"I know what you mean," I replied. "I've been looking for someone to discuss literature with."
Sophia's eyes lit up. "Really? What kind of literature do you like?"
We spent the next hour walking around campus, discussing literature and getting to know each other. I was amazed at how much we had in common.
As the sun began to set, Sophia turned to me and said, "I'm so glad we met, Emily. Would you like to study together sometime?"
I nodded eagerly. "I'd love to."
And with that, our study sessions began.
