Over the next few weeks, Sophia and I met up regularly to study. We would sit in the library, surrounded by books and papers, and discuss literature.
As we studied, I found myself becoming more and more attracted to Sophia. She was smart, funny, and beautiful. I couldn't help but feel drawn to her.
One day, as we were studying, Sophia turned to me and said, "I'm so glad we're doing this, Emily. You're an amazing study partner."
I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest. "Thanks, Sophia. You're pretty great yourself."
As we packed up our things to leave, Sophia turned to me and said, "Hey, do you want to grab coffee with me sometime?"
I nodded eagerly. "I'd love to."
And with that, our coffee dates began.
