The North continent was known as the demi human plane, as a majority of the kingdoms there were those of demi humans, or a mixture of humans and demi humans. Among them, the smallest was Belfast Kingdom, a kingdom of rare blood elves, distinguished by their silver hair, dark red eyes, an almost human like appearance and low magic capabilities. They were scorned and looked down upon by the other elves and chased away, thus the creation of the Belfast kingdom. The neighbouring kingdoms all looked down at them, treating them like unwelcomed guests; inferior creatures. Yet despite all this, they were all kind hearted and never blamed anyone, thanks to their King and Queen.

"Renard, the Queen is summoning you." said a female attendant, to a young boy who was seated on the bed, his focus on the palm of his hand. As the attendant looked at him, a tiny silvery flame burst forth on the top of his palm.
"Renard, your mother is calling for you." She repeated, but Renard's attention was fixated on the tiny flame dancing on his palm. He was so focused on the flame, that he didn't notice the attendant coming towards him. All he felt was a painful sting on his cheek.
"Ouch ouch!!" He screamed out.
"What was that for Lucia? I-" He said as he turned towards the person who had pinched him.
"Lucia eh? I believe she called you so many times before, but you ignored, didn't you?"
"Mother!" He exclaimed as he tried to move away from his mother's grip.
"We are going outside, and you are coming with us." she said as she held his hand, pulling him out of the room.
"You are now seven years old, you should start walking with us outside much often, know the people of the kingdom and bond with them." She said.
"But mother, what about training my skill? You said it is a valuable one.."
"Indeed, a silver flame indicates a very pure mana, and its a powerful skill, but.. We have limited mana reserves.." she said in a low tone.
"Anyway, let us go, shall we?" She said as they walked towards the doors. The attendants bowed respectfully, greeting the queen and Renard, as they opened the door, revealing a well taken care of passage way. well tended flowers, perfectly trimmed bushes, they all made the inner castle chamber look lively and cheerful. As they walked out, the attendants all greeted them, and the queen personally went to each and every single one of them, talking to them, calling them by their names. All Renard could do was look at his mother in awe, aiming to become a ruler as good as her and his father. As he kept admiring his mother, he was suddenly lifted up, catching him by surprise.
"To be surprised by this, I taught you to always focus your senses at all time." a male voice said as he placed Renard on his shoulders.
"Father! We were about to go out for a walk with mother." He said.
"Good. I might as well join you, we have finished building the blacksmith store."
"Blacksmith store? You were supervising the construction?"
"No, I was helping out. A King shouldn't just sit at the throne, you should remind yourself that even though you are a king, you are still an elf, same as everyone else." He said.
"And a King should not go visiting his people while drenched in sweat and dirt, so wash up and get ready." his mother said as she approached them.
"Of course dear," he said, kissing her. Placing Renard down, he left his guards to Renard and his mother.
"Father and Mother... They serve their people, and everyone is very warm hearted and kind... Lucia told me that I am not permitted to go outside the kingdom or to even interact with any other people from outside the kingdom, be it fellow elves, humans or other demi humans because they look down on us, and treat us like lesser beings.. How are we all able to maintain our smiles and goodwill? I need to follow father's and mother's footsteps to become the perfect King for this Kingdom, there has never been any blood shed inside here between elves.. I should learn how to maintain that peace." He thought as he looked up in the sky. It was cloudy, and it was getting colder and colder. Winter was coming soon, and they held an annual event every winter, which the little one was eagerly waiting for.

"Which fruit does his little majesty want?" Asked a fruits seller, looking at Renard after paying her respects to the King and Queen.
"Cirils! Lots of them!" he said excitedly.
"Of course, they are your favourite after all." the fruit seller said as she gave a wooden box full of Cirils to one of the guards accompanying them.
"These are a little bit too much Cecil.. I shall pay for them." The queen said.
"Take them as a gift from me, your highness. Think of it as a gift from my family. The little King has been visiting my shop several times to keep me company and to ask about the outside world, he has been like a helper to me."
"Alright then, I shall receive them with thanks. I heard you are leaving to visit the eastern continent.. Do you need guards?"
"I wouldn't possibly ask for all that. The eastern continent is very friendly, and most of them just think that we are humans. I shall be okay. I was planning to leave today in the evening."
"I see, then take care, may the Light Sovereigns be with you."
"Thank you my Queen. May the Light Sovereigns protect our home and our peace."

Winter was a season they were all eagerly anticipating, as they would party and dine for days and nights. But this time, they were not the only ones waiting for winter. The Kings and officials of all three neighbouring kingdoms had secretly met, all led by greed and superiority.
"It is time to start our meeting." One said. They all stood up, reciting a prayer.
"What we do is just, it is as desired by the Sovereigns of Light. All stained by curses are evil, and deserve a fitting judgement; Banishment to the never ending Purgatory."
As they sat down, a man of tall stature remained standing, as he waited for the rest to settle.
"Now then," He said in a deep voice.
"It is time to wipe out those accursed elves."
