In the northern continent, there were a total of four kingdoms: Belfast Kingdom, the home of the rare blood elves, Orith Kingdom, the kingdom of humans and demi humans, Axel Kingdom, the Kingdom of Hybrids and Goblins and Glaslot Kingdom, the Kingdom of Pure elves. Belfast was incomparably smaller than the rest, being a very weak nation. The Pure elves boasted of high magic reserves and high intelligence, the Orith boasted of artifacts and high knowledge, the Axel boasted of high magic abilities, and a wide variety of skills. For the Belfast Kingdom, no one really cared about them, but rare blood meant that they had something the pure elves didn't have: Powerful skills. But because of their low mana reserve, they could not use them effectively. Their red eyes were also not a defect, but a skill they all possessed: Eyes of Valhalla, a skill that allowed them to see the true nature of souls, perceiving souls in different colours, a skill they had kept secret for ages.
And now, inside the throne room of Orith, was a large round table, with all other nobles and kings around it. A man with long dark hair had remained standing. He appeared to be in his twenties. A glossy black crown with golden linings rested on his head, and his cold brown eyes scanned the table. He was donned in a pure black light armour, and a long curved katana was sheathed and tied at his waist. He was the King of Orith Kingdom, the feared King in the Northern continent, one who was regarded as the executioner. As his gaze shifted across the hall, they all kept quiet and paid close attention.
"Firstly, I appreciate seeing the Kings of the two kingdoms, together with your noblemen. As we all know, this meeting is all about planning how to lay waste to that accursed kingdom of Belfast, and I shall take charge of this operation."
"I don't get it," Said a goblin as he stood up. He was tall in stature, muscular and had long grey hair. A crimson crown adorned with green gems rested on top of his head, and his red eyes stared at the King of Orith.
"What is it that you don't understand, Tagan?" he asked.
"I don't understand you.. you, the great Caius, planning on how to lay waste to a kingdom as small as that? Do explain yourself." king Tagan said. The nobles beside him looked at him nervously, as if begging him to stop talking.
"A very valid question indeed." King Caius replied as he smiled at Tagan.
"As much as they are weak, they possess powerful skills, that when used effectively, would cause some trouble. If they got information that they were going to be attacked, they will prepare artifacts, and we want to avoid that." Caius said.
"So in short you want an all out attack on them? Can you not do it with your army, or even yourself and your four imperial guards?" Tagan asked again.
"Should you really be wasting your time explaining it all to this pig?" Asked the King of elves.
"What the hell did you say Oliver?" Tagan asked as he turned to stare at the king of elves.
"I said that we should not be wasting time explaining it all to a pig, did you not hear?"
"You fucking bastard. Wanna fight?" Tagan taunted as he unleashed his mana.
"Tagan Axel, take your seat." Caius said, which Tagan ignored as he started making his way towards Oliver.
"I repeat, Tagan Axel, take your seat," Caius repeated in a stern voice, as he reached for his katana. Before he unsheathed it, Tagan withdrew, taking a seat.
"Good. Now let us proceed." He said as a hologram of their continent appeared, showing their respective kingdoms.
"Now, winter is approaching, and when snow accumulates to a high amount, is when we will attack, they will not be able to run away, and at the same time, our movements will be slowed. That is why we are working together, elves will attack at long range outside and will also be in charge of clearing a path for our armies, we shall charge in, and you, Tagan will be in charge of mutilating them all, after all, no one can hide from goblins, you shall strike and follow those who are hiding, underground passages, every crevice shall be searched. And I shall personally handle the king and queen. This will also benefit our kingdoms, that land can be used as a port for all our three kingdoms, they also have good mineral deposits, and we will be eradicating them all before they somewhat find a way to increase their mana reserves. And when I say eradicate, I mean everything, everyone. From men to women and children. All familiars under them shall also be destroyed, all their history is to be burnt down, if not then the kingdom can rise again. I only ask you all to bring one hundred soldiers each." He said. The nobles murmured as they all agreed to the proposition.
"And how many men will you bring, Caius?" Oliver asked.
"Me? I shall take two together with me, it has been a while ever since my blade touched blood. I shall allow it to feast on that day we paint the snow red." He said, a wry smile creeping on his face.
"Very well, I shall also charge in with you, I will need to have a talk with my dear sister. I have a lot to say to her, but worry not, I shall not get in the way of you killing them." Aaron said.
"Okay, what about you, Tagan?"
"I cannot help but go in too, but I shall take my goblins and your humans and demi humans to eradicate each and every single one of them, I might as well have a taste of their flesh." He replied, a grin forming on his face.
Caius looked outside the window and stared at the falling snow. It was still thin and little, but in seven days he knew the real winter will have started. He smiled, placing his hand on his katana.
Everything had now been planned..
It was going to be a red winter.
