''Evangeline!!!!''
Someone roared powerfully behind her as she ran for her dear life.
Charlotte turned around in her movements wondering who the fuck was that. She didn't care that much as long as she ran the hell out of this place and far from him. Possibly find her body along the way and abandon this place.
She had a slight heart attack when hulk was hot on her heels looking exactly like the English word; a maniac.
What in the world was happening? Why was she in this mess? How did she switch bodies and land in this strange world when all she wanted to do was die?
She kept breathing fast and running even on an injured leg away from that monster that wanted nothing to do with her but fuck her mercilessly. She knew him not from Adam. He might be familiar with the previous occupant of this body. They might be in a very toxic relationship. Who cares?
She kept running farther and farther into the distance. All she could see was snow and more snow. Her bare feet pounding on it. Suddenly, a line of overgrown trees appeared in her sight and tears of happiness began to roll down her cheek.
Finally, somewhere to hide away from him.
She ran, her legs moving quickly and her heart pounding hard in her chest.
Dark eternal blue eyes with visible touch of evil watched silently in-between the trees as she ran tirelessly towards him. His eyes darted toward the relentless tyrant pursuing her, indifferent to her injuries or helplessness.
Werewolves. He scoffed.
The moon in this world hung full, vast, and luminous. Its cool blue glow reflected off the icy snow, casting a bright path that guided her as she ran heavily through the darkness. It also looked like it was following her?
Either everything happening now to her was a bad dream. She was close to dying, got rescued and was in the hospital receiving treatment but was in a coma. Or the afterlife…they fucking lied to us all that it was a place of eternal peace. Heaven!
When she was this close to disappearing into the tall dark forest…
''Ah!'' She cried out as the Hulk seized her long hair, yanking her roughly toward him before forcefully throwing her to the ground. The force was enough for Charlotte to spit out blood, tainting the snow beneath her palms.
''How dare you reject me?!''
Hulk hollered so loud behind her.
''I am bloody mate!!!!''
She raised her head a bit to gaze longingly at the forest. If only she put more effort…she would have been safely in there by now. Her hands fisted around a pile of snow and pushed her body forward. Gasping out cold breath from her mouth.
''Your father would hear of this. Your mother…in fact…''
She continued to push forward not minding whatever rubbish was coming out of his lips. She just wanted to get herself to safety and away from him and the craziness of this world.
''The whole pack is going to hear of this. Of how their beautiful, innocent princess dared had the guts to reject her given Mate to run into the realm of demons.'' He spat as she felt him stepping close.
Realm of demons?
She blinked.
You mean the innocently looking trees that are about to be my best hiding spot from you?
Charlotte sighed. Everything is crazy here, but she just has to keep pushing. No matter what.
Hulk grew even angrier. She was still pathetically crawling towards the forbidden realm of demons. He also paused to catch his breath to glare at where the light of the moon goddess refused to shine her wonderful light on.
The realm of demons and monsters.
His eyes then fell on his mate who kept moving towards it. Those eyes moved with silent reasoning.
Could it be that she had fallen in love with one of those hellish creatures? Thereby the reason she isn't submitting to him and for her rejection?
His eyes darken a shade than its original color down at her. He knelt down to grab her legs causing the girl to scream so loud enough for the trees before her to shiver in response.
''You whore!'' He screamed as she felt his hands painfully around her waist then on her hips as he drew her to himself. ''I am going to teach you a lesson you would never forget.''
Her back was towards him as he struggled to force himself on her. Blinded by the pain of rejection along with envy that she might have fallen for another…he wanted to teach her a lesson she would forever and painfully remember. He was going to destroy their beautiful, innocent princess before sending her back to them.
He rejects her too.
When Darkness couldn't bear the sound of her cries for help at the ruthless alpha trying to force himself on her, he stepped out of his domain and into the horrible light of the bright moon.
He was also going to teach him a lesson.
He walked out of the shadows of his domain and with the flick of his wrist, the snow answered his calling and rose to a mighty cloud of snowstorm behind him.
That seemed to catch the attention of the alpha and immediately stopped his aggression on his precious human he brought to be in this world with him. If he had known that darn goddess would double-cross him, he wouldn't have pleaded to have her brought to this world to be with him like she wanted.
The thunderous sound of it and its growing terror had him falling back in horror.
Even his darling was petrified.
Her now blue eyes gazing at the sight slowly moving towards them in unrestricted fear, and it looks like her second life was flashing before her eyes again.
He stood before the phenomenon as his dark gloved hands fisted around his righteous staff. Daring the alpha with his unfriendly gaze to hurt her while he was here.
It was the rumored legendary demon prince himself.
Hulk swiftly turned on his heels and ran for his dear life. Leaving her behind on the cold floor without a second thought.
Werewolves. He frowned at his retreating form in disgust.
Just as how that rumbling cloud of snow gathered so as it vanished like it was being swept away by the wind.
If fire started falling from the sky, it wouldn't surprise her anymore. What are the other crazy, jaw crushing things that could happen again in this world?
With soft movements, the king of many nightmares began to approach the body of the wolf that currently housed his human. Each fluid move of his steps caused her mouth to widen at perfection.
This enigma was devastatingly beautiful. With an eerie feeling of darkness surrounding him as he slowly approached her.
She couldn't describe perfection because there would be no word on earth that could do justice to how he looked.
Ethereal.
Gorgeous.
Radiant.
A shadowed gleam.
A seductive blossom.
A living gem.
God.
P-e-r-f-e-c-t-i-o-n.
Charlotte didn't realize that she was drooling. When she thought this was all a nightmare…he came in and made everything better. So much better by his unearthly looks and heart stopping movements.
He stopped just a few feet, and she raised her head up to stare at him more in disbelief.
Is this even possible?
People would fall on their knees to worship him if this person existed in her world.
She smiled at him which only deepened his frown.
She watched him let go of his golden staff, and surprisingly, it didn't fall off but stood firm. She noticed every single detail about him with wowed lips. Admiration sparkling in her blue eyes which irritated him the most.
That darn goddess would pay heavily for this. Trapping his beloved in this body…
When he bent on his knees to greet her coldly with his diamond blue-red eyes. She knew at that moment that she wouldn't mind being chased for hours in the raining snow by him or to be stuck forever in this dream world and body for him.
He placed a cold finger under her chin to raise her head a bit.
Maybe he wanted to kiss her. She let her eyes fall with dreamy expectations. The small smile on her face drove him mad in anger.
Werewolves. Always so easily lured into romance.
''Open your eyes,''
She jumped with her eyes wide open at the underlying darkness in his voice.
''Your eyes the other way and not on me,'' He ordered with no room for rebellion.
He frowned the more. He would hate for a set of frost blue eyes to look at him when he would prefer those soft brown ones from her previous life.
Charlotte swallowed and did as he said.
Good.
He then took his time to confirm if she was in this body and not being tricked again. The girl grew nervous when his eyes observed her from head to toe. Anytime she tried to catch a sneak peek of him he would warn her with his frightening gaze not to dare.
She swallowed the second time.
When he was done observing and confirming what he wanted to confirm, ''It doesn't matter.'' Their eyes locked. ''If I would have to love a wolf like you then I don't mind doing so.''
He is not making any sense as well.
I am not a wolf.
''After all, I see you…in there.''
Those stone-cold eyes seemed to soften for only three seconds.
''You are mine forever regardless of which form I see you in.''
Her eyes widened the more when he leaned to place a warm kiss on her forehead as his gaze fell back on her.
''Just endure for me in this body and in this wicked place. I will come for you. I will find a way.''
She watched him rise to his feet, move toward his golden staff, and then head back to where he had come from.
