"It was you, you did this!" Jack screamed paranoid. He was now back in the gloomy swamy area where he was reincarnated. It hadn't been 20minutes, since he was transported back. But his mind kept replaying the occurrences that took place.
"You killed them, how could you?" He was having a mental breakdown from what he'd done. He was an orphan with no parents or relative, and he'd just ended the life of a little girl's parent. with a bunch of other people that didn't deserve it.
Given his harsh and challanged background, he was bound to have a sense of guilt.
[You fool it was either you or them. Are you so dumb, to realize how much hatred they had for you or you're just naive?] The system coldly said with a light scoff, proud of it's accomplishments.
"Hatred.. how dare you speak of hatred when you're just a program without human feelings!" Jack retorded. Sure he knew the girl's parent did go a little overboard, but he didn't blame them. It was the survival of the fittest in Agathe, and they had to protect their daughter.
[Are you listening to yourself? They had to protect their daughter, from what? You didn't ask for anything! the little girl came on her own.] He couldn't deny the system was right but still, how could he not fell guilty? He was a human being with feelings and emotions, before becoming an undead. so it was natural to be aggrieved and angry at himself.
[Like I said before. The development and safety of the host is my top priority. And I will do anything, I repeat anything to ensure that.] The system indifferently spoke, but jack could tell it wasn't mere words but a very cold threat.
"Forgive me Patty." Jack softly uttered. the image of the little girl, and her reaction when he killed her parents playing over and over in his head. A mix of shock, fear, pain, sadness with other complicated emotions plastered on her face, staring blankly at her parents taking their last gasps of air.
It was a disturbing and horrific sight no little child should have to experience.
'I promise I'll repay you somehow.' He vowed on giving her a better life and keeping her safe. He wished he could change the past, but unfortunately he couldn't.
Shaking his head there was nothing else to do here, so he decided to check the series of notifications that flashed before his eyes.
[Congratulations host on your second bloody samaritan deed!]

[Mass Murderer: grants host +1 stat point to allocate to any stat for every mass kill of 50 within 10 minutes.]
"Woah!" Jack exclaimed taking some few steps back, staring at the barrage of system notifications flooded his view.
When the system took over his body, he surprisingly couldn't access the notification bar telepathically. Mainly because his body was 'temporarily', not responding to his commands for that moment.
'I performed a mass kill but still.. the rewards are just breathtaking.' He wasn't complaining, no! it was the opposite. But he never did expect this much rewards from the system.
"I gained some stat points in strength and agility, with my hp also increased by 10." Looking at the screen, he could see he'd gained +2 stat in strength and agility with his hp increasing by 10. But that wasn't all, no! It was just the beginning.
"I levelled up." Jack smiled seeing he'd levelled up not once, twice, but three times. He was always curious how he would level up, as there was no experience bar or any requirements. But now his level had risen up to lv4 from the large kills.
He also saw he had 3 free stat points, he could allocate to any stat he wished. And he had a good idea where "Stamina and intelligence are lacking, so that'll be my obvious choice."

Staring at his profile a wide grin subconsciously formed on his lips.
"I can feel it, am getting stronger." Jack muttered staring at his arm. He could feel he'd gotten stronger without a doubt. He was still weak, but not on the same path as before.
"Distribute 2 stat points to stamina and 1 to intelligence." He commanded with a light smirk.
[Successfully distributed 2 stat points to stamina and 1 to intelligence.]
Checking his profile again, he confirmed his stamina and intelligence had been updated.
'If this keeps up then I'll reach lv15 in no time.' He was amazed at the rate he levelled up so fast. The sun strangely wasn't seen here. but judging from the sun in agathe, he could tell it was getting to evening in Agathe and he was already at lv4.
[Time remaining: 31min 26sec]
"I have to get back and kill some more." The idea of killing human beings, his own kind began to sound less barbaric to him. I mean why should he bother, when he was killed by his supposed kind.
"No.. what am I saying?" He liked the feeling of levelling up and getting stronger, but at what cost? Ending the lives of his own kind and bringing suffering to their relatives?
He was first beaten to the brink of death by humans, before killed by a sentinel manufactured still by a human. but that didn't mean all humans were bad, and deserved to die.
[Like it or not you're an undead, not a human. The sooner you let go of your past, the faster you realize your full potential.] The system said in his head. And jack couldn't deny it was right.

----------------------------
In a big luxurious building towering the skies, several cars could be seen passing through the gate checkpoint. Exiting the cars were different high class individuals, of both gender. Dressed in expensive corporate clothing's, and high garment materials.
Judging by their clothing and expensive cars, one could tell they were rich and important figures.
Several armed guards in groups, escorted a pair of these high class individuals into the building. They then made their way in a coordinated manner, going up through the various lifts.
"Welcome, please follow me." A young woman dressed in casual, yet chicc black and white uniform bowed. She then guided the group to the last door at the right of this floor.
Typing in some commands with some biometrics scans, the safe like titanium door opened with a clank sound. Entering the spacious room filled with top notch items, they were each guided to their respective reserved seats.
"Please wait moment, the president will join you shortly." The secretary uttered exiting the room.
"Congratulations on your retirement miss pam." A young man with autumn hair about the age 25 smiled, at a much older woman with grey hair in purple dress.
"Thank you Alden. I must say you're doing quite a good work as senator." Miss pam smiled earning a light chuckle from aldren.
"Oh for god's sake.. don't tell me you two are a thing?" Another male interjected. He had jet black hair, with a tattoo of a dragon on his neck.
"Of course, the spoilt arrogant brat of the chen family had to steal the spotlight." Aldren sarcastically spoke.
"Well what can I say? You can't blame me for always being the center of attention." Senator fey Chen smirked.
"What are you doing here anyways? I thought you said you hated meetings like this, cause it only killed your thunder. You should be drunk in a club or begging daddy for more money." Another female coldly uttered. She had a unique dark cyan hair, which further highlighted her beauty more.
"Governor xiu peng, greetings." Both aldren and miss pam slightly bowed, to which she waved her hands. While the arrogant fey Chen simply scoffed.
"I never get tired of our little get together like this." Marcus playful voice spoke with him entering the room. Getting up they all paid their respects, bowing a bit.
"Please stop, I might throw up in embarrassment." Marcus joked to which they all laughed. "Allow me to welcome you all to the universal directives association."
"Now I know you all are wondering why I called for this sudden meeting, but I assure you it's worth your time." Marcus said his tone becoming more serious.
"As you all know our city is powered by the green plant, also known as green energy orbs. Generated from the sun, and manufactured by enders power source company." He boldly said a weird smile plastered on his face.
"But what if I told you there was a much powerful, and longer lasting orb that could be the future for all of us." He paused taking in the reactions of the crowd. "As much as I'd love to give a long speech I'd rather call on the one who made this possible."
"Please welcome Bryce Harper! Head of enders power source." Marcus smiled welcoming Bryce Harper to the small stage.
"Am sure you all have different opinions about me. To be honest I too have different opinions about me." He joked but no one laughed, except Marcus.
"Haha! tough crowd." He muttered scratching his head a bit.
"But I assure you this is not about me but us all. For years now, me and my team has been working on a way to improve the effects of the green orb from the sun. Making it's effects last more and be more efficient. And some few hours ago, we finally had a breakthrough."
"Behold, the orange orb." He smiled, bringing out a small orange orb glowing with power. This caught the attention of the crowd as there were mixed reactions of joy, doubt, and anticipation.
