Within a few minutes, it had successfully changed into a completely sealed metal fortress. This tent could endure the simultaneous full strength attacks of three Iron crystal grade dimensional beasts, sufficient to protect him in this place.
Apart from this, with its outstanding defense, this battlefield fortress also had automatic warning system that could scan for iron level monsters and above for up to 200 meters.
The automatic warning and defensive system, once activated, would immediately alert Miles by vibrating his holo and waking Miles up.
Everything in surroundings of the battlefield tent whether in sky or underground in every direction were included, instantly forming an inescapable net.
...
Miles entered into the tent and was finally relaxed, albeit partially though. He didn't want to be caught off guard and then killed when he had just started his journey.

Miles was just thinking if he should directly use the biomass to directly increase his strength or directly upgrade his system when some yb ng caught his attention on the status screen.
There was a 100 units at the back of the Iron skin technique. "Does that mean I can directly upgrade the level of any technique and reach the highest level of there's enough bioenergy?"
Miles was aslughtly shocked. If this was possible then, the system was really too overpowered.
In this world, once one awaken their nuclear pulse, they would be able to absorb the surrounding nuclear energy and use it to strength their bodies to advance from level one Supersoldier to level 9 Supersoldier stage!
And they can't do that without the help of a nuclear technique! Although Miles was different as he Gould directly absorb the bioenergy from corpses to incrse his strength.
Nuclear techniques are techniques that absorbed the nuclear energy in the surroundings, with the help of the nuclear pulse of course, increasing ones strength. There are car ius types of Nuclear techniques with various attributes.
Some could even grant the power of flames, ice, wind, lightning and so on once it reaches the highest stage of the technique. It was also the reason why Nuclear techniques and Combat techniques are very precious in this world.
Not withstanding, it was very difficult to advance the levels of nuclear techniques as it would take a long time to reach such hight level to produce an attribute advantage to be used during combat.
But Miles didn't have to pass through such ordeal! He could simply use bioenergy to increase his levels.
Just to test his theory, Miles gritted his teeth and spoke.
"Upgrade Iron Skin by one level."
[-100 units]
[Ding! Iron Skin has advanced to Level 2]
Suddenly, Miles felt a sudden change in the structure of his cells. It wasn't a drastic change but it was still noticeable. He could feel his skin hardening up.
Rolling up his sleeves, hs saw it had turned anothee shade of black. This made Miles frown slightly but he didn't take think too much about it and simply unsheathed his blade.
Using 50 percent of his strength, he slashed at his arm.
"Shiiing!"
Sparks glinted off in mid air as the soind of two metals grinding against each other sounded out.
Miles's smile widened when he only saw a red mark on his arm which started recovering in the blink of an eye. Sheathing his blade, he couldn't wait to reach back to the city and purchase a good Nuclear Technique and Combat technique.
Now, there was still 423 bioenergy left. He immediately planned to use it to upgrade his system.
"Upgrade system by one level."
[-100 bioenergy unit]
[Ding! System upgraded to Level 2]
[Second Level: Bio-tentacles and Energy Storage]
[Active Ability:
Bio-tendrils: The host can manifest massive tendrils during combat to drain biomass and bioenergy from dead or weakened opponents, even during active battles. These tendrils can also be used for mobility, such as grappling or climbing.
Passive Ability:
Level 2 Cellular Manipulation: The host gains the ability to initiate basic changes to their body structure (e.g., Transforming the hand to sharp blade.)
Level 1 Energy Storage: The host develops an energy reservoir to store absorbed bioenergy for later use, enabling faster regeneration and increased stamina.
Miles closed his eyes the moment he felt the system upgrade take hold. A warm current of energy coursed through his body, almost like a gentle electric buzz beneath his skin. Each heartbeat seemed to amplify this power, and he could sense every cell in his body responding, growing more responsive to his control. His breathing suddenly paused for a moment as something started wriggling from behind him, pressing at his back, just below his shoulder blades.
His back suddenly started to expand and he could feel something growing rapildy like a tumor. Miles immediately started panicking, thinking something had gone terribly wrong.
The tumor nwhind him swolle up like an humpback until all at once, the pressure broke free. Three long tentacles, each about two meters in length, burst out from behind him.
They were slick and coated in a clear, viscous fluid that dripped to the floor. It reminded him of the fluid a newborn might be covered in, thick and strangely glossy under the light.
He twisted his head around in shock, watching the tendrils sway and twitch. They seemed firmly attached to his spine, each one moving like an extension of his own limbs. As his heart pounded, he realized he could feel them—he could control them almost like his hands.
A metallic sheen covered the body if tentacles from base to tip, reflecting flashes of light whenever they moved. He realized that it was the thick flesh of his iron skin technique
Up close, the tentacles looked like living cables wrapped in thin, iron fleshy plates, giving them both a natural and armored appearance.
