Chapter 32 - Ovulating Helena!

The slightly chubby young man was wearing a mysterious smile on his face, as if he had gotten his hands on some earth-shattering secrets, waiting for Xavier to ask him about it.

"Speak or fart out whatever you're holding in."

However, Xavier only spared a sideway glance at him as he continued walking. Obviously, he was annoyed at him for putting on airs.

The chubby youngster's face stiffened slightly, but he didn't take it to mind. The knowing look on his face was even more apparent as he said in a hushed voice, "This news is related to Miles."

As expected, Xavier stopped in place in the next moment and turned around to look at the youngster with a narrowed gaze, asking, "Miles? Didn't that brat take time off from school because of some family matters? Stop putting on airs, Gerald."

Seeing as Xavier's attention was finally drawn in, the youngster known as Gerald immediately chuckled and continued in his hushed voice, "Last night, I unintentionally overheard my father saying that our class's Miles actually entered a dimensional zone to hunt dimensional beasts."

"What?"

Xavier didn't believe what he just heard. His eyes were wide open, looking at Gerald by his side. Even his voice rose an octave higher, asking, "You're saying Miles, that brat, went into a dimensional zone? Is that for real?"

Gerald's eyes narrowed into a slits as he said, "It's true. I personally heard my father saying it. The Principal was notified when he ventured into the dimensional zone."

"Does that brat really think he's a genius?" Xavier said, feeling half astonished and half secretly delighted. "Not only did he just it awaken any bloodline talent, he's is also poor, and yet he dares to go hunt beasts in a dimensional zone! He truly is childishly naive. I hope he can walk out from the spatial gateway safely!"

Gerald chuckled, "It's already been two days. I guess that kid was surely shredded apart by beasts. It's not that easy a place to live in."

Xavier sighed hypocritically. "But, I still hope that he'll be lucky enough to come out safely. We're classmates after all. We can't possibly hope for him to die in there."

"Right, right, right. We're all classmates. Of course we hope that he'll survive."

Although both of them claimed that they were hoping for Miles to return alive, the delightful smile on their faces betrayed their true thoughts.

~~~~~~
Miles arrived at Whitehaven district. Even after he had been here, he was still at how advanced the technology here is compared to that of Whitehaven district.
Before him was the store which he purchased both his combat suit, the Crossbow and arrows. The moment he entered the receptionist put on a well practised smile and welcomed him.
"Welcome to Starblaze Genetic Store. May I know what you might be looking to trade for?"
Melinda brows furrowed slightly as an intimidating wave of bloody energy pressed on her. 'Just how many beasts has this man killed to gain such killing intent.' It was then she remembered where she knew him from and her eyes opened wide.
Wasn't this the young man who came here two days ago? Why has he changed from a scrawny little kid suddenly to a masculine looking man.
Remembering how she had looked down on him, she couldn't help but be slightly ashamed.
Miles saw the various expression on the receptionist face and didn't bother with her. "I know where I'm going."
With that, he turned around and walked towards the counter where the sell materials. Before he could even get there, a pretty looking young lady walked towards him.
"Hi, my name is Maltida and I will be your sales assistant for today." The young lady immediately sighted the massive bag pack in Miles back and the stench of various interdimensional beast materials and her eyes lit up. She knew she had come across a huge customer this time.
Miles immediately recognized who this person was. It was the assistant who actually told Helena to deal with him and to seep the ground after he left.
Of course Miles didn't have any good feelings towards this person. His eyes turned frosty and in a cold voice, he spoke.
"I don't want my goods to be sullied by your hands. Call the assistant called Helena here. I'm in a hurry."
The smile on Matilda's face faltered and a look of confusion appeared in her face. She removed her gaze from the backpack and then looked at Mike's face then she realized what exactly had happened.
Putting on a forced smile, Maltida uncomfortably nodded her head. "I understand sir. I will call in the junior assistant. If there's anything else you want, let me know and I will do my best to assist you with them."
"Calling Helena is enough, you may leave."
Hearing Miles dismiss her like she was nothing, Matilda was immediately angered. Her face turned cold and even bordered on murder. When had she ever being treated like this?
Even the heirs of those rich families in Whitehaven city treated her with respect due to her knowledge and talents. But a nobody who got some lucky encounter overnight dared to treat her this way.
Although this was her thoughts, she restrained her self and squeezed out a smile before she nodded and left towards the direction of a rich and handsome looking young man. However her eyes revealed hidden hatred.
Miles wasn't a newbie at noticing people's expressions and knew the other already held a grudge and might even act on it. He only sneered coldly and ignored her.
A minute later, a cute 5'6 short lady quick walked towards him with shining blue eyes as deep as the ocean. It appeared she recognized him from afar.
"Welcome again sir. I didn't expect you to come so fast. I hope your harvest was bountiful?"
Helena asked out of politeness. As her long eye lashes fluttered, as she stared at him. A wave of pheromones suddenly blew into Miles's nose.
"She's ovulating." Miles couldn't help but stare at her for a few seconds which made her slightly uncomfortable.
