Chapter 3 - Reborn as a Dragon

As Daniel was thrust into the black vortex, all he saw was darkness. Everything was dark—he couldn't see anything. But he didn't feel fear, as he knew the Devouring Dragon God wouldn't harm him.

He knew he was on his way to rebirth. Also, his thoughts weren't stopped—only his five senses couldn't be felt at all.

"I wonder how I will reincarnate," Daniel mused.

"Most main characters in situations like this get reborn into a wealthy home with a beautiful mother. But it's always a single mother whose husband deserted her."

"I pray my case will be the same. Don't worry, dear future father, I will take care of Mother," he thought.

It's not that he didn't wish to have a father, but even though he would be reborn as a newborn baby, he was still a twenty-one-year-old man in mind.

Also, he was sure he would receive greater love from his mother than from his father. That was the thing about mothers—only they truly knew the pain they endured to bring forth a new life.

If his mother was single, then she would be the first stop in his mission—creating his harem.

Since he was from another planet, even though she was his mother here, he still had the mindset that she wasn't completely his mother. But if the attachment he developed toward her was too strong, then he planned to keep their relationship strictly as mother and son.

He would make sure to form his harem, fulfilling what he couldn't achieve on Earth, as he had been rejected by ninety-nine women.

Suddenly, he felt a bright light, as if he were breaking free from a cocoon. He could feel his body parts and his five senses returning.

He tried opening his eyes, but they felt heavy. Finally, he managed to open them, but he was shocked to find that everything was blurry—he couldn't see well. The place he was in felt warm, and he was surrounded by comfort.

Daniel assumed that, because he was a newborn baby, this was normal.

Suddenly, something enticing entered his nose, making his stomach growl slightly. He followed his instincts and moved toward the source, devouring whatever was emitting the delicious scent.

He felt something soft as he placed his mouth close to it, and a milky liquid ran down his throat—so delicious that he immediately felt sleepy.

He was certain he had been reborn. From the taste of the milk, he was sure this was his mother. He wondered how beautiful she was.

Slowly, he drifted back to sleep.

Origin Continent—a world where cultivation exists, where gods, demons, dragons, phoenixes, and all powerful beings have left their mark.

Survival is about becoming the strongest; only fists and strength speak here.

In an unknown forest, within a hidden cave, one could see nothing except small fragments of a black shell.

But if one looked carefully and closely, they would notice a small black lizard, just about a foot long, lying in the center of the cracked shell, sleeping peacefully in comfort.

Suddenly, the black lizard drowsily opened its eyes.

"Now I can see clearly," a human voice came from the black lizard.

"Wait, where the hell am I?" The black lizard looked around and was shocked to find itself in a strange cave.

"Did my parents abandon me, or what happened?" the black lizard muttered in a low tone.

The cave was warm and calm, like a proper home, which indicated that it wasn't old or abandoned.

The black lizard then remembered something.

"Since I was abandoned, then what was that milky stuff I ate earlier?"

It began to scan its surroundings again and soon noticed the tiny black shell fragments scattered around.

Bending slightly to examine them, it muttered in confusion, "Isn't this an eggshell?"

The black lizard's expression was strangely human-like as it fell into deep thought.

"Don't tell me… it's what I'm thinking."

This black lizard was Daniel, who was still unaware of his situation. He felt as though he had been asleep for a long time, and now that his vision was finally clear, what he was seeing was giving him a bad feeling.

This place didn't look like a palace or a house. Even though it was warm, there were no signs of human habitation.

Then, Daniel spotted a small puddle of water, which made him excited—now he could check his reflection.

He tried moving his body like a human, but his movements felt unnatural, and he collapsed instantly.

As he fell, he caught sight of his own body. This wasn't the human form he was familiar with. What he saw were black, scaled, lizard-like legs.

Staggering and falling multiple times, unfamiliar with this four-legged body, he forced himself toward the puddle of water.

Finally reaching it, Daniel saw his reflection—a black lizard-like head, a long, snake-like body, and fish-like scales.

Daniel collapsed in despair.

He had expected to be reborn as a majestic dragon, but what he saw was far from the grand image he had in mind.

"How the hell am I supposed to form my harem like this? How am I supposed to seduce women? Does this mean I have to reproduce the primitive way—sleeping with lizards?!"

"God forbid!" Daniel quickly shouted.

He didn't forget to curse that old geezer Dragon God, swearing that his dick would burn in hell for millions of years, enduring endless pain without relief.

With every curse Daniel knew, he rained them upon the Devouring Dragon God. He had even eaten the shell, thinking it was breast milk.

After spending more than an hour venting his frustration, he finally calmed down and began to think about how to move forward with his new life.

But he wasn't planning to give up on his mission. No matter what, he would find a way to form his harem. The obstacle of his current body wouldn't kill his desire.

As he was lost in thought, a sudden voice startled him—yet, at the same time, filled his heart with joy.
