The dark-haired twin had returned to his human visage, and Asuriel couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. Kaine continued, "Your hair isn't wet, and you were up there for half an hour-"
Darion placed his hand over his brother's mouth to stop him from saying anything more. The demon hissed a warning through clenched teeth, "Stop speaking if you don't want him to kill us both."
Kaine immediately sealed his lips and laughed awkwardly. "Kazuo wanted to talk with you, boss. I sent him to your private audience room."
Vaerion was in a foul mood, and his tension was palpable.
