Alvin was thinking about his dangerous circumstances. Now he was stuck in this small cave with no other exit, and outside was a dangerous place full of snakes.
Although he didn't want to fight the snake, he actually didn't have much choice. He would only starve to death staying at this small cave.
Yet, the problem was how he was going to fight the level 20 snake and reach the top of the spiral.
Just as he was thinking, he glanced at the colourful gems on the floor. An idea came to his mind. He knew how to build a magic circle. He could use the gems to build a magic circle.
"Now I have around 23 pieces of rank 1 gems, 7 pieces of rank 2 gems. Although they are just rank 1 and rank 2 gems, I can try to make a powerful circle." Alvin thought, watching the gems on the floor.
"Attack circle? Cannot, with just rank 2 and rank 1 gems, the power of the attack circle won't be enough to kill a level 20 cloud monster. What is even worse is there are more than one snake out there."
"Alright, control type magic circle. I can make one big control magic circle, Paralysis Sigil" Alvin thought, his eyes rolling left and right thinking of the mechanism of magic circle.
Alvin took th biggest rank 2 ice element gem on the floor and gazed at it.
"Wind Blade" Alvin cast a wind blade, cutting the gem into half, making it a smaller gem with a sharp corner. He needed a 'knife' for his magic circle engraving. With no proper knife with him, this was his way to create a knife.
Alvin tried to engrave a line on the gems. As expected, the stone knife was able to engrave the line on the gems. Although the engraving line wasn't perfect, it was good enough to make a magic circle.
Then, Alvin took out a rank 1 lightning magic circle from his back pack. It was a mat with thunder gems and an engraving line on it. This was the mat material Alvin would use to connect all the stone.
After 1 hour of engraving the gems, connecting them on the mat, Alvin managed to make the magic circle.
The colourful gems were shining on the mat, with a mysterious engraving line on it. If ones looked clearly, he could see the cloud energy flowing between each stone.
This Paralysis Sigil had the power of stunning enemies around at the time Alvin activated it. Although this magic circle probably could only stun the snake for 3 seconds, it was enough for Alvin to escape.
"Nice. First, I ran towards the top of the spiral. Then, when there were enough snakes chasing me, I could activate the Paralysis Sigil to stun them. With that, I should be able to run away. " Alvin thought to himself.
After making sure the magic circle works, Alvin stood up and looked at the cracks, with all his thing packed into his back pack.
Alvin exhaled a breath and walked to the crack in the wall. Alvin didn't tried to use his wind blade to make the crack bigger. That would use up all his cloud energy. Instead, he slowly squeezed into the crack.
Soon, he reached the crack opening which collapsed due to the snake's attack. Rocks were piled up and blocked his way.
Peeking through the holes between the rock, Alvin was observing the situation outside. Although it was dark, Alvin could see that so far no snake was waiting outside.
Alvin took a deep breath and summoned his cloud. He wanted to use a wind blade to blow away the rock. There was no other way to remove the rock, considering he was inside a narrow crack in the wall.
"Firs cloud spell, Wind blade" Alvin mumbles to himself. A wind blade shot to the rocks in a high speed.

Wind blade created a big opening in the wall.The rocks were broken into pieces, dust filled the air, creating a clear sound in the quiet spiral.
"Body strengthening, leg"
Without any hesitation, after casting the wind blade, he moved to the crack opening. Just as the rock broke into pieces, Alvin darted out from the big opening.
Alvin accelerated up the spiral without even looking back. He knew that every second counts. He must run away before any of the snakes caught up to him.
As expected, the snakes were following him. Alvin could hear the hissing sound behind him. Luckily, all of the hissing sounds came from behind, there wasn't a snake appear from other direction.
While dodging the snake attack, Alvin was darting towards the top of the spiral. Every minute, there would be a blue colour cloud energy shot at him, giving him a difficult time.
Normally snake was a solitary monster, living alone by itself. However, maybe due to cold weather in the spire, more and more snakez were chasing him. As of now, there were around 7 big snake chasing him.
"Almost there" Alvin looked at the exit. After running for a while, Alvin was sweating and panting, but he didn't stop.
The good news was he was just 100 meters away from the exit. The bad news was he saw a snake at the exit. It was a much larger snake, hissing, its tongue flickering, its eyes gazing at Alvin.
Alvin's eyes narrowed, running to the exit.
Suddenly, Alvin stopped when he was 50 meters away from the huge snake.

A blue cloud energy from the huge snake hit the ground in front of him, creating a huge sunken.
The next second, instead of running away, Alvin darted to the snake
"Closer, gotta be closer." Alvin thought to himself.
Soon, he reached 20 meters away from the snake. Due to the stop just now, the snake behind him were just 10 meters away.
When the snake almost reached him with their sharp teeth, Alvin pressed the magic circle mat on the ground.
"Paralysis Sigil."
