While booking the seats, only first-class tickets were available to him. He didnt like it that he spent such a huge amount on a train ticket, but the good thing was that he had never traveled in first class, so what awaited him was an experience of its own.
As he got to the boggy, a man bearing a hop-boy uniform was standing outside the boggy. As he approached him, the man asked to see his ticket. After confirming his seat, the man told him to go inside and his luggage would be taken care of by him. He was thrilled that he didnt need to carry this many bags.
The compartment that he got was in another class of its own. The heated and ventilated brown leather seats are on either side of the compartment. There was a large window panel that could become transparent, translucent, and completely black with a command of a switch. The seats could be converted into a comfy-looking bed with one touch of a button. There was unlimited food and drinks, and every compartment had one butler that would tend to every need that one could have. Experiencing such a luxury for the first time in his life, he forgot about his worries and enjoyed the experience.
The opening of the compartment door broke his line of thought, he raised his head to see a woman standing on the door. With her white hair tied in form on a ponytail, fluffy long ears on her head, and cat-like eyes, wearing a formal black shirt and pants, the woman stared at him.
"Juliana?" He muttered. The woman expressionlessly stared at him, "Do I know you?"
He got up, "Um… Yeah. I mean, you came by my room many times in the past." The woman turned her head sideways, her eyes scanning him thoroughly. Realization finally hit her, "Oh yeah… You are the valedictorian, right? Thanks for the notes by the way,"
The woman then came in and she took the bed opposite to his
If I remember correctly, then wasn't Juliana also heading to the capital? I remember someone telling me that she had gotten herself a job in the Home Defense Department.
After she was done with her bed, she immediately raised the privacy setting in the compartment, making a translucent and noise-canceling barrier appear between their seats. He lay down on his bed and decided to take a nap. This journey was going to be a very long one…

Raiden found himself in a very familiar fancy room which he recognized immediately. He looked down and saw his body was made of smoke like the vision from before. He looked around to see all sorts of organs littered all over the walls and floors of the room, along with their owners. He was in the same room from his previous vision. The main focus of this dream was on the two people in the center of the room.
The woman in the knight's armor had her Red Draconic eyes on the fat grey Fishman, kneeling on the floor. It was the same scene he had seen in the vision before, but this time he found that there was something about this one. Fishman had an arrogant look. While spilling blood from his mouth, he spoke "Can I at least know, who the fuck sent you to kill me today?"
His question didnt receive an answer from the woman, so he insisted, "Oh come on now, tell me… Or is it personal revenge? Did I kill your whore of a mother? Or did I fucked your sister?"
The armored woman didnt say a word, she just raised her hand and pointed towards the gold necklace that Fishman was wearing.
Raiden noticed the necklace for the first time and realized that he had seen something like this before. But he couldnt put his finger where he had seen it.
Angered voice, the knight spoke, "That belonged to someone precious to me. I heard what you did to him. All of this… This is just revenge."
Fishman looked a little surprised, "You are saying that you are related to the little orphan Dragon-Kin boy? I didnt kill him. He just vanished one day." He had a feeling that the man was probably lying.
The stranger shook her head, "It doesn't matter whether you really are the killer or not. But you will die today."
Fishman became angry, "Believe that I didnt kill him. I am telling the truth." The knight didnt listen to the Fishman's plea, "Ready to die?"
The arrogant look on the fishman's face vanished, gnashing his teeth together, the fat fishman spoke, "Fuck… You bitch!" The knight came to a stop in front of the Fishman. She grabbed the fishman's head and pulled him up. "May you rest in peace,"
Without any warning, the knight forcefully grabbed the lower jaw of the Fishman and then pulled it out. The stream of blood poured into the knight's visor, it didnt look like it affected her at all. Like the previous time, Raiden's stomach started churning, but this time he resisted the urge to puke. He wanted to see what happens next.
The black knight turned around, and straight away jumped out of the window without a second of thought. Raiden then turned his attention towards the pitiful Fishman, he was bleeding profusely and it wouldn't be long before the Fishman departed to the Realm of Dead. Seeing someone struggle like that broke his heart, but he could not do anything.
It was then did he heard a creaking voice, he turned around to see a nearby wardrobe flung open, and a small Fishman boy, about 10-11 years old. The boy looked horrified and came running towards the convulsing Fishman.
The boy knelt down beside the Fishman, crying, "Papa! Are you alright? What should I do Papa?" Some clarity came to the Fishman, with one of his hands, he grasped the boy's hand, and with his free hand, the Fishman grabbed the golden locket around his neck. It was then he saw that the golden locket started shining brightly, illuminating the room. And it is then Raiden woke up…
He looked up to see the face of Hop-boy from yesterday, staring down at him, "Sir" he spoke hesitantly, "We have reached Valgoor, sir. We have reached your destination,"
"Oh," he mumbled and pushed himself up.
Last night, Raiden had eaten a lot of food, thinking that he should get his money's worth out of the food. Thus, he slept like a baby after eating his full.
As swiftly as he could, he took his carrying essentials and made his way outside, where a trolley with his trunks was waiting for him. As soon he stepped outside, the train started moving, which seemed as if the driver was waiting for him to step out.
Whatever it may be, the first class was not worth it. Even if you factor in the exquisite food and service, there is no way in hell that I am going to pay for that kind of ticket again in my life.
Raiden looked around Valgoor station, it was the smallest station that he had laid his eyes on. The whole station was just a small block of concrete, big enough to fill 20 people. And it had no sitting space or shade.
Well, why would I expect something? This is a border town, I won't find anything here.
Before he could look around the place, something manifested in front of his eyes.
