Selina continued, "Then I discovered the foundation had been tampered with—corrosive chemicals added. If I'd applied it to my face, my skin would have started to rot within minutes. Hayes Madam, do you think this is just a coincidence?"
Mrs. Hayes broke into a cold sweat. She never expected Rachel's sabotage of the foundation to be caught by Selina! She couldn't admit it under any circumstances.
Forcing a smile, Mrs. Hayes feigned ignorance. "Selina, what are you talking about? How could there be corrosive chemicals in the foundation? Rachel only added some essential oil to make it more hydrating. You're overthinking this."
Selina curved her lips into a knowing smirk. "Is that so? Then why didn't Rachel dare to use this foundation herself?"
