Selina wished she could disappear. She shut her eyes tightly and muttered, "What are you laughing at? This is all your fault!"
Thinking about her awkward walking posture, Logan replied slowly, "Mrs. Reid, at least take the morning off. Or do you want everyone to figure out the real reason for your tardiness?"
Selina glanced at the clock. The first class had already started—she'd definitely be late if she went now.
Not to mention, her thighs ached so much she could barely walk…
Covering her face, Selina surrendered to her frustration, biting her lip hard. "Fine. I'll handle it myself."
She requested leave from her advisor and returned upstairs to rest.
